Manly Drinking Times
Who: Marco, Thatch, Logan, Namur, Roxas, Vyse, Chandra, Natsuno, and anyone else who wants in on this drinking game
Where: The Sun! And the Moon! And all the ships in between
When: Sunday May 4th, pursuant to this hilarity
What: MANLY DRINKING TIMES
Warnings: Ehhhhh ARRRRR For Rum. And drinking. And war. And fuck who knows what else, remind me to update if needed.
Status: OPEN!!!
Marco quickly set up a couple of kegs at the ready for the drinking party. Because it was just plain necessary, and a lot like old times. The last two weeks were still weighing on Marco's mind. War, Peace, phoenixes. Was it a good idea to really enjoy war so much? Was it a bad one? Maybe it was inevitable, so he might as well enjoy it. Like life, right? Or should he not encourage it just because it was amusing?
It was too much of a headache, that's why he was just going to drink.
He also set up some non-alcoholic drinks for Leanne and everyone else. Green tea, fruit juices, but they were all clearly marked.
Marco gave a quick piercing whistle. "OI SPADES! Roll call and drinking games!"
And maybe drunk board games, he would blame that on Ace though.

And a headshake. "Sorry, me neither, yoi." He held up a hand and switched it to the fiery blue feathers. "Hard to handle those kinds of things with feathers. Want to try another one or skip?"

"Right. I should have remembered." She paused to think. "How about, I've never dyed my hair?"

He vaguely drew a finger over the lines of his tattoo. "The reason we all love our Pops so much, Ace's father, mine, Namur's, Thatch's, is because he gave us a home. He adopted all of us as his own kids. He said so long as we were all sons of the sea, we were sons of his."
He looked up at the sky. "I've never wanted a life outside of that." And he took a drink, because things changed. Now... it wasn't that he wanted a new life, but he was happy with Ace. Happier than he could have ever expected. Much like when he first started sailing with his Pops. "He'd be proud of Ace." Hell, Marco is proud of Ace, and it actually shows in his wistful expression a little.

She frowned and laid her mug on the table, allowing herself to rest her arms on the surface and leaned forward a little. Marco's last part did add comfort to her and it did help bring to light as to why he felt so attached to the crew and why he respected Ace so much. Not that she didn't, even if she thought he was kind of crazy at times.
There was a long silent pause of her part before she spoke up again. "But I can see why you like the crew so much now and why you'd do anything for them. Why all of you would. It might not be the same thing, but we ran into similar stuff back home."

She was about the finish, then something else popped into her head. "The spirits and humans live separately too, I think it's because of similar reasons."
