Manly Drinking Times
Who: Marco, Thatch, Logan, Namur, Roxas, Vyse, Chandra, Natsuno, and anyone else who wants in on this drinking game
Where: The Sun! And the Moon! And all the ships in between
When: Sunday May 4th, pursuant to this hilarity
What: MANLY DRINKING TIMES
Warnings: Ehhhhh ARRRRR For Rum. And drinking. And war. And fuck who knows what else, remind me to update if needed.
Status: OPEN!!!
Marco quickly set up a couple of kegs at the ready for the drinking party. Because it was just plain necessary, and a lot like old times. The last two weeks were still weighing on Marco's mind. War, Peace, phoenixes. Was it a good idea to really enjoy war so much? Was it a bad one? Maybe it was inevitable, so he might as well enjoy it. Like life, right? Or should he not encourage it just because it was amusing?
It was too much of a headache, that's why he was just going to drink.
He also set up some non-alcoholic drinks for Leanne and everyone else. Green tea, fruit juices, but they were all clearly marked.
Marco gave a quick piercing whistle. "OI SPADES! Roll call and drinking games!"
And maybe drunk board games, he would blame that on Ace though.

He should probably stop talking about himself in third person like this. He was going to develop a complex. If he hadn't already.
"That's what love is, you know. There are many different kinds of love, but it means wanting the best for someone else no matter how much it hurts you."
no subject
He pet Marco's hair idly as he thought that over.
"Love is kind of hard to understand you know. Yeah I want the best for Lea, no matter what. Other people too I guess, but I don't know if I'd stop them from fighting. I mean, isn't it normal?"

"Not that long ago, this mark on my chest used to represent that. And it still does. It means we'll always fight to protect each other, and if one of gets hurt, we'll avenge each other, okay?" He was holding Roxas in place so the kid didn't risk falling, but he pointed to the spade on his left arm. "We're still figuring out what we all want this one to mean, but I know it means we all care about each other. No matter what, yoi."

He was quiet for a moment, thinking. "But I don't know if I care about everyone here. I'm really confused about Riku and Sora. I mean I hate them but I also don't hate them because it's not Sora's fault and Sora likes Riku and that's in here kinda and I'm so confused about it. I don't think I want anything bad to happen to them or anything, but I just...I don't know if I like them."

Marco just ruffled Roxas' head. "You don't have to like someone to care about them. Ikki's mad all the time, but he still protects everyone in the crew with his whole being."
no subject
He nodded a little, thinking. "You don't have to avenge me though if something happens to me. I'll just disappear, but I think I'll come back."

"I came back after I died before and I think that's what happens here, but I don't know really. I just won't die then." Roxas shrugged, easy as that. "I don't want to die anyway. It hurt last time."

Roxas seemed to be trying to think about it, but he's had too much to drink to really form coherent deep thoughts. He thinks Marco looked a little sad so he leaned over to wrap his arms around his neck.

"For what it's worth, whenever anyone dies, all that's left eventually turns back to dust." He points a finger up at the sky. "Scattered all over the universe, the stardust is bits and pieces of everyone's life." He wanted to switch an arm to phoenix to give Roxas a better hug, but for now, he hopped up to sit next to him and kept his arm behind the kid's shoulders. And maybe switched parts of it to phoenix, shhhh.
"My Pops always told me that even when I buried him, he wouldn't be gone. Even when he was dust or less. Because so long as I hold the memory of him, he'll always be with me. So I'll tell you what, I'll always remember you, okay?"
And because he felt like crying, and like hell he'd ever admit it, he maybe leaned his head to the top of Roxas'. Such a good strong role model, yup.

"Really? You'll really remember me?" His eyes were a little wide because to him that was a huge promise.

He didn't really want to think about leaving them or forgetting them. He didn't want to think about his fate, or wonder how much time he had left in this place. Roxas wanted to have as much fun as he could squeeze into the time he had left. It might seem like a stupid, childish goal to some people but it was the only time he had after all.
"I'm gonna remember that. You, and Lea when he said it...Ikki too I think. I'll remember there are people that would miss me."
