Manly Drinking Times
Who: Marco, Thatch, Logan, Namur, Roxas, Vyse, Chandra, Natsuno, and anyone else who wants in on this drinking game
Where: The Sun! And the Moon! And all the ships in between
When: Sunday May 4th, pursuant to this hilarity
What: MANLY DRINKING TIMES
Warnings: Ehhhhh ARRRRR For Rum. And drinking. And war. And fuck who knows what else, remind me to update if needed.
Status: OPEN!!!
Marco quickly set up a couple of kegs at the ready for the drinking party. Because it was just plain necessary, and a lot like old times. The last two weeks were still weighing on Marco's mind. War, Peace, phoenixes. Was it a good idea to really enjoy war so much? Was it a bad one? Maybe it was inevitable, so he might as well enjoy it. Like life, right? Or should he not encourage it just because it was amusing?
It was too much of a headache, that's why he was just going to drink.
He also set up some non-alcoholic drinks for Leanne and everyone else. Green tea, fruit juices, but they were all clearly marked.
Marco gave a quick piercing whistle. "OI SPADES! Roll call and drinking games!"
And maybe drunk board games, he would blame that on Ace though.

"It's okay. You can't understand unless you've done it, I guess." He's been keeping the big existential hangups at bay pretty successfully. Nuktuk isn't him, but the attention was really nice, and the money is totally great. And he's not really captain of a pro-bending team material either, but that's okay? Like, whatever thing regular Bolin is supposed to be doing is something he hasn't figured out yet, but he could still do some good by saving the President and helping Korra and all, so. That's not a bad setup.
"Juuuuust sayin'. Me and Asami have noticed you and Korra have a weird hangup going on." Couple stuff? Not-a-couple stuff? Is anybody on this ship even a couple? Now he'll have to ask. "But if you need to hug it out or talk about something, you know where to go, bro."
Just don't tell him anything that is supposed to be very secret, obviously. Or tell him it's supposed to be secret. Otherwise, it's probably gonna be out there.

Well, keeping it in check enough until Bolin just dropped that on him. That's when he set the tea down quickly, his eyes doing the fastest sweep of the room he had done since getting to his table and he only looked at Bolin when he was sure no one else heard that.
There's only confidant Mako ever had, and that was his little brother. And even then he still felt a little uneasy discussing things in regard to him.
"That's not something we should talk about here, bro." Not shutting him out, just letting him know that another place would be better.

"It's not?" He spares a moment to consider the fact that his brother is very spiky and reclusive in public on most occasions. Well, non 'hand feeding Korra' occasions, which are kind of past them these days. For Bolin's part, his body language stays relaxed and unguarded. The benefit of chugging through life on rounded edges and a general sense of trust. "Sorry, my bad. You can always take me up on that somewhere less... table-y?"

“Yeah.” He really did want to do something about it, and Bolin’s the closest person to him in either world. “I might do that.” He already made up his mind, he would. But not here.
On the Moon; where he knew there wasn’t a chance of being overheard by Korra or Asami.
“Go play the game, bro.” He’ll be on stand by in case anything happens. It’s what this big brother did. “I’ve got some thinking to do.”
As usual.

"Space. You got it! Spaciest thinking space on the whole ship. I'd say something cool like 'don't burn your brain out,' but you've sort of got the element on your side, so." Bolin hesitates for a second, pursing his lips and putting a hand on one hip, before he achieves his light bulb moment. "Okay, Pabu, keep an eye on Mako for me. You know how he's always out looking for trouble."
A fire ferret has evacuated your brother's shirt and joined your party, bro. If you fall down any wells, he's well equipped to fetch help.

Pabu scampered right onto Mako’s shoulder and sniffed the air, smelling the tea. It might be silly to Mako, but he smiled a slightly at the fire ferret and looked to Bolin.
“Thanks.” He raised a single hand before returning to his tea to brood.
