INTRO LOG: MAY 2014

WELCOME NEW CHARACTERS!
Have an intro log for the month of May!

Who: Any and all new characters, as well as anyone hanging out on or around Isla Empieza!
Where: Near the fountain in the town center.
When: New characters will arrive around May 10th! The log is good for as long as you need it.
What: You've just been dropped on your head in a weird new world. Time to figure out what the heck is going on!
Status: VERY OPEN.

It's a brilliant May day, with blue skies and a soft breeze as you wake up. Everything about the otherwise grubby pirate port you are in speaks of spring. There are flowers surrounding the fountain, draping in colorful garlands over railings and balconies and tucked into all corners. There is a certain cheerfulness to it all and those in Empieza seem friendly and welcoming (to those who've been there before, they are far more pleasant than usual).

Feel free to throw your characters here if you need a place for them to get situated and start figuring things out! Start new threads, tag into others, meet the people who might just become part of your crew! Older characters will be in and out, too, depending who is on the island at the current time.

Wan paused for a moment, trying to figure out if he was asking about the jump or the use of the element. He arrived at the conclusion that it was probably the latter.

Wan shrugged, "I was granted the element of air from the Air Lionturtle. It's pretty useful. It's nice to meet you Luffy. Are you from this world?"

[allendsmeat]

"I wanna see the Arlionturtle! What did you have to do? Did you have to give hims stuff? What can you do with air? Are your farts really big?" He must have missed the last part of the question but that was okay. If it was important the guy would repeat it.

[raavashing]

"Ah! No! I'm sorry! The Air Lionturtle isn't in this world. And-" Farts? "No! No they aren't. That's not how you use air."

[allendsmeat]

Boo. That sort of sucks but that's okay. Still. "Farts are air." Yep. Let Luffy tell you a thing. "They're just really smelly. Or they smell like cola if you're Franky and can inflate your butt." He was so awesome. He needed to be here. Luffy missed Franky's cola farts.

[raavashing]

Wan took a step back, reassessing his interest in the man in front of him, "That's still not how you use the element. It doesn't come from within you, you use the wind and air that's already around you. Um, are you from this world? Or are you from a different one?"

[allendsmeat]

"So if you farted you could use that air, right? Cuz then it would be outside of you." That would be a pretty gross thing to do and he wishes he could try it. "I'm from a different one. A lot of new people are." He nods.

[raavashing]

"I... suppose I could use it. Not that I would," he cringed just thinking about that. That was pretty gross. "So um... I don't suppose you'd know anything about this place? Because it's okay if you don't. I'll just... go find someone else to talk to! I'll do that now!"

[allendsmeat]

"Yeah. This is Empizza. It's got lots of shops and some wild boars but they get mad if you leave them iou rocks and won't let you do it again until you pay them back." Which was a pain if you didn't have any treasure but Nami was here now, so that would help.

[raavashing]

"Most humans like to be paid for the things they sell," Wan answered, still slowly backing away. "At least where I'm from."
