[Well, Ikki hasn't talked to everyone just yet so he isn't sure, still he tries to give it a try and think.]

[Namur nods, then in a fit of forgetting this is someone much older and not generally accustomed to such personal gestures from Namur, picks Ikki up and sets him on his shoulder as he walks.]

[Ikki only yelps a bit in surprise at the gesture, finding himself sitting on Namur's shoulder as they move.

Okay...

Everyone is definitively acting weird and all. But for some reason that seems to be getting Ikki all the shoulder rides ever, this is the third one and that's three more than he would have ever expected.

Whatever is happening, it's now officially awesome. And if Namur can pick up on haki, he may sense the ball of joy and excitement and nerves that Ikki is now,]

[Namur does feel that haki indeed, and smirks.]

Oh, y' like that, huh? Shit.

[And now Ikki's being tossed in the air.]

[That he likes it would be an understatement. The last time anyone gave him a shoulder ride or something similar was his mother when he was very small, which is now just a faint memory at most. It's something he has wished he could have at least once for a long time, the chance to see the world from another perspective, the chance to have someone hold him up, someone he would trust enough for it. But trusting others is difficult, especially when people betraying him, using him, beating him, is a common occurrence. Or rather "was", it certainly hasn't been common since he arrived here which is why he has come to love the Spades crew so much.

Unfortunately, the joy and happiness is drowned in an instant with pure panic and surprise when Namur moves him away from the shoulder. After talking with Thatch and all, part of Ikki knows that there's no reason for it, but panic is an emotion that can't be controlled. It's the fact that he's going up in the air instead of down to the floor, which keeps him from having a full panic attack. Instead, while there's some panic at the idea of having done something wrong that made Namur be angry with him, it's mostly covered with confusion. However, it's only an instant before the kid starts to realize and understand what's going on.

As he does and he recovers his confidence, the joy and excitement from before are uncovered once more, flaring with more intensity as Namur tosses him in the air. it builds up until it explodes and, contrary to Ikki's "better judgement", a joyful laugher and voice spills from him as he goes up and down.]
