Korra wound up once again and took a running start that was... probably unnecessarily long. She jumped up, but her toes caught on Namur, and with a small shout, she smacked down on the deck on her hands and knees.

Namur picked her up by her sides and stood her up, smelling for blood. "C'mon girl, y' all right? Almost made it, y' were super close! Bet if y' tried 'gain, an' didn't make yerself run so much before, y'll be able t' do it. Yer puttin' too much effort int' the run so yer legs're all tired by the time they gotta jump, catch me? All y' need's a few steps t' get yer momentum goin' then BAM! Throw yerself int' the air with everythin' y' got, a'ight? Ready t' try 'gain?"

Korra sniffed, wiping her nose with her arm as she looked up at Namur. Her lip stuck out in a frustrated pout once again. She only nodded, eyes narrowed.

This was srs business, of course.

Korra backed up, only a little this time, in preparation to jump again.

And Namur held out his arm again, preeeetty sure at the same height it was before. He remembered how it felt and how his fist kind of looked like it lined up with that particular board on the side of the ship. Yep, totally the same height, he couldn't possibly have set his arm higher.

It won't matter anyway, since once she jumps he intends to snatch her out of the air and toss her high above his head. He'll catch her, of course, assuming she doesn't rocket propel herself through the sails.

Korra was in the zone. She huffed, staring down her target as she wound up to jump and-

"AAH!-" The Water Tribe girl was taken completely by surprise as Namur tossed her into the air, but it was a good surprise. Ever since they'd discovered that she was the Avatar, it was the rules say this, and you can't do that. Being thrown high into the air on the deck of a pirate ship? Was definitely against the rules, and Korra was going to take full advantage.

So, yes, she did rocket herself high up onto the sails with a delighted laugh. She landed precariously on the lower boom, teetering back and forth.

"THAT WAS AWESOME!!"
