[Makes it to the galley and shoves the door open with his foot.]

It keeps finding ways to take your vampire...ness? Away. Only to forcibly give it back again a week later.

Yeah kind of is. Chandra thinks she might know a way to cure it I don't know how that works but, I told her she was welcome to look if she wanted.

[He leans his chin on Riku's shoulder.]

Vampirism. That's the word you're looking for. [He's a smartass.]

Vampirism.

[Repeats with a roll of his eyes. He looks up at all the various cabinets, trying to think of what all they have that they can eat.]

I didn't think that could be cured.

[Natsuno smirks at him.]

Ah, yeah, that's what I said. Wouldn't that just leave me dead? Then again...

[He shrugs a bit.]

She said no anyway.

So it'd bring you back to life essentially. Huh.

[He has no idea how she could possibly manage that, but hey, no complaining over here. Riku knows Natsuno wants that.]

What do you want to eat?

I believe that's the idea.

[Riku will feel pressure on his shoulders as Natsuno leans up to look at the cupboard.]

Um...well let's see. Any trail mix around?

I hope that works out for you, then. Did she say that's something she can do here, or like...is it something from her own world?

[Guh, yeah, bitty Riku can only hold Natsuno up for so long, and his legs buckle a bit under the sudden pressure.]

What is it with you and trail mix?

Ack! [He hangs on around Riku's shoulders for dear life when he stumbles.]

I like trail mix, it's a good source of protein and it's easy to have on a boat because it doesn't go bad, but chocolate would be good too. Since I'm going to be normal again soon, I guess I could just eat a bunch of chocolate.

[...Ooooohhh chocolate. Riku readjusts his grip on Natsuno, looking around.]

Yeah, chocolate, let's do that. If we have any. If I give you a push, you can check the cabinets!

[It can't possibly end poorly, what with a brilliant idea like this.]

Yeah, okay! I probably can't be on your back for that though. Shoulders maybe, or you could boost me? I'm not sure.

[Takes shaky steps closer to the counter.]

Shoulders should work. Right?

[He lets Natsuno drop down, then crouches in front of him.]

Climb on and I'll boost you up!

Yeah, okay!

[He reaches to put his hands on the counter and shifts to try and put his knees on Riku's shoulders. It's a good thing he's not terribly heavy.]

[Waits until he's got a hold on the counter, then grunts and tries to straighten up a little, giving Natsuno that boost.

He may not be terribly heavy, but Riku isn't terribly big either. So it's harder than he thought it would be.]

C-Can you make it?

Just a little more!

[He reaches as high as he can, and the moment his fingers grasp the cupboard door, he wrenches those two open.]

Do you see any chocolate?

[Tries to look up, but really, he's half bent over and Natsuno is in the way.]

I can't see anything, stupid, you're blocking my view!

Hang on, hang on, I got an idea.

[Natsuno grabs onto the counter and slowly slides off of Riku onto the counter so he can stand on it and reach the cupboards.]

This is probably safer....

Riku gets on his tiptoes, peeking over the edge of the counter.]

At least you can reach stuff now.

[He nods a little, poking around in the cupboard.]
