The dragon keeps his wings tight against him so he won't get caught up by any of the gusts of wind, and he's not even up there for five minutes but already his scales are slick with water. Shaking off doesn't help much, but at least he doesn't seem to mind being wet.]

Someone probably should have told him that he was more in need of tying down than some cargo.
Right now he's clinging to a rail for dear life as the ship rocks and the wind blows. It feels like the next blast of any strength is going to send him right over the edge into the ocean, so when Toothless tries to shake off some rainwater and it goes straight into Lea's eyes, letting go to wipe it out probably isn't the best idea.]
Geez, did you have to--
[Not that there's much time to complain before his grip on the rail slips...]
no subject
He blinks as the man slips from the railing. This ship has an interesting amount of flying humans.
Only not. It's obvious the guy's in trouble, so the dragon makes a leap forward to grab onto whatever he can of Lea before the guy can go overboard or something. At least he's using his gums and doesn't have his switchblade teeth out?
Ignore the teeth in the picturejf;af;f]no subject
Uh...thanks? Can I, um, have my leg back now?

Yeah, yeah, you did good. You want a treat for it or something?

[Lea grabs hold of the rail again when the ship rocks.]
Though if you want that treat, I'm gonna have to figure out how to get down to the galley...
[That could prove to be a little more difficult...]

What? What are you up to now?

[Not that he doesn't feel that tug and figure out what's going on, but still. Dragon spit.]
I got it. I walk, you make sure I don't blow away, right?
no subject
The dragon seems to smile almost as Lea looks down at him, giving another tug. Yes. You walk, he'll play anchor.]
no subject
Uh...good boy. So about that treat?
[What do dragons even eat?]
no subject
no subject
Ha! You look pretty excited now!
[Now that he knows he can get away with it, he pats Toothless on the head again.]
Okay, let's go see what I've got for you.
[Lea leads the way into the galley and starts poking around. It's not quite as well-stocked as he'd like, but he's gotten it into some semblance of order.]
What do you want? Meat? Bread? Cheese? Fish?
no subject
He pokes his head into the galley, sniffing around. There's a snort at the offer of cheese- after Donatello had made an entire model out of the stuff, the dragon is pretty sick of the smell alone. He does however perk at the fish.]
no subject
[Luckily there's a lot of that. If there's one thing he's learned from his time cooking for the Spades, it's that fish is the easiest thing to keep stocked. He has a bucket set aside for later, but he can spare a few.]
You just want the whole thing?
[He picks out a nice big one and holds it up.]
no subject
no subject
[Well, he can spare another one, maybe. It's kind of hard to turn down a happy dragon.]
I'm gonna toss you one. Think you can catch it?
no subject
no subject
Catch!
no subject
Toothless moves closer to Lea then, wearing his happy dragon smile.
And then he'll make a noise. And his eyes might roll back slightly as some unpleasant sounds roll along from stomach into gullet and then SURPRISE, Lea might get half a gooey fish deposited into his hands.]
no subject
What was that for?! Geez, at least warn a guy!!
[In hindsight, he had ample warning, but what does he know about dragons?]
no subject
Toothless figures it's only polite to share- and judging by the gummy smile on his face, he seems to have no idea why the guy's making such a fuss.
He'll even lean over to nudge it with his snout. Hey. Hey. You dropped it.]
