She spots Lea and his offerings.]
If we never come here again, that'll be just fine with me.
[Seriously.]
Thanks. [Although, she's not feeling so great about the candied ginger. Not that she's actually had much of it before.]
What's this? [She asks, pointing to it.]
no subject
[He shrugs and leans on the door frame.]
I'd figure out something to make with the regular type, but, well, Candy Island. None of it out there.
no subject
Didn't taste bad at all, actually.
[And if it's really the thing her stomach needs right now, that's even better.
There she goes, having another piece.]
no subject
[He's not big on candy, but he does like ginger.]
I should probably stock up on it. Something tells me everyone's gonna be pretty miserable once the boat starts moving.
[Technicolor barf everywhere.]
no subject
You'd be my hero if you actually did that. [Seriously, Mona doesn't want to have anything to do with candy for a long, long time. Which was a shame, since she's a big fan of chocolate.
But now, the mere sight of was making her feel queasy. Speaking of which...]
Ugh, this can't work fast enough.
[She puts a hand over her stomach.
Why couldn't she have stopped earlier.]

[Lea shrugs. Moderation, people.]
I get the feeling if Gaius wants to come back here, he's going to be stuck swimming back on his own.
no subject
I'm hoping this is everything Gaius ever wanted, because I'm already about done with this island.
[Their departure just can't come soon enough.]
You know if anyone else in the crew is feeling as cruddy as me?
no subject
[He doesn't want a repeat of that mess, but there's no telling Roxas to lay off the candy.]
no subject
Wait. Is it going to make me nauseous just by hearing about it?
[Precautions!]

[Lea makes a face.]
There were these bowls of cursed candy all over the place that kept magically refilling themselves. I'm surprised the enchantment didn't wear off, considering how many of them he emptied. He was on a sugar high for days until he crashed and burned.
no subject
Yeah, definitely feeling nauseous right about now. I feel bad for Roxas, though. He must've come down pretty hard after all that sugar.
[She can only imagine.]
