05/21 will be the end of the official scuttling of the Charming Murderess near Scorpion Reef and we'll have to start using the new Galleon (and name her!) from then on. The Hey! Listen! is still intact and usable. As we sail away, remember to watch out for scorpions and get ride of them.

05/26 Link Jr. returns from his canon update in a 17yr-old-body with the Master Sword strapped across his back.

05/28 - 06/04(dates negotiable) Stopping on Manila for a library visit.

I suppose it might be.

[And his expression remains serious for all of a couple moments before he reaches out to brush the tip of Sasuke's nose lightly with one finger, chuckling.]

[thethundersaid]

[He's not sure what he's expecting -- a poke in the forehead, a pat on the head -- but that's not it. Sasuke's nose scrunches up in automatic response as he ducks out of the way, blinking.

It's a moment before his mouth twitches.]

The fog's still affecting you pretty strongly, huh?

... Aa. [He catches himself late, pulling back but failing to look a hundred percent serious again.]

It is. How infuriating.

[He doesn't sound very infuriated.]

[thethundersaid]

I wonder how it works. [He stares out at the pink fog as if that might explain it.]

And why it's affecting you but not me. Maybe it's all the -- [Poisons in Sound, but maybe he shouldn't actually mention that. He stalls too obviously, though, and finally finishes off with:] -- extra height I have on you.

... Extra height?

[Itachi gives his brother a look up and down. At about 5'7" and still growing, the younger teen isn't really shorter than his brother. This causes him to laugh again.]

[Yeah, maybe that wasn't the best substitute to use, but at a loss and with a keen sense of injustice at the fact that his brother at thirteen is this close in height to him now, it was the best he had in the moment.]

Or weight. [And he has no particular choice but to run with it now.] Or muscle mass.

[forthevillage]

[Is he being... insulted? He can't get himself to care enough. Itachi chuckles some more, looking down at his own figure.]

... Do you think I'm underweight?

[thethundersaid]

[Does he? Sasuke is far from an authority on what is and isn't normal for a healthy ninja. Too bad Sakura isn't still on board; he could have her lift Itachi and make a guess.

... maybe the fog is affecting him too, to be having a thought like that.]

I don't know. Do you feel underweight to yourself?

I'm not sure I'd be able to tell...

[He pulls his shirt up a little, glancing from his stomach to Sasuke and back.]

You and I use different techniques. Different fighting styles. That does it.

[thethundersaid]

Heh. [He knows perfectly well that Itachi's style is less full-contact, full-force than his own, but he still comments:]

You can't excuse it on fighting style alone. Maybe we should be feeding you more.

[forthevillage]

[Itachi makes a sound that's half a laugh and half an indignant noise.]

I feed myself well enough.

[thethundersaid]

[That noise is amusing enough that Sasuke has to turn away to hide a chuckle, glancing at Itachi again only to continue with:]

We should probably still assess your diet to be certain.

[forthevillage]

... I assure you, that won't be necessary.

[Is Sasuke teasing still? He's sure he is, but it's still beginning to make him self-conscious.]
