05/21 will be the end of the official scuttling of the Charming Murderess near Scorpion Reef and we'll have to start using the new Galleon (and name her!) from then on. The Hey! Listen! is still intact and usable. As we sail away, remember to watch out for scorpions and get ride of them.

05/26 Link Jr. returns from his canon update in a 17yr-old-body with the Master Sword strapped across his back.

05/28 - 06/04(dates negotiable) Stopping on Manila for a library visit.

05/26 - Link Jr Returns

[The last think Link remembered was pulling the Master Sword from the pedestal in the Temple of Time. So finding himself choking on water as he struggled to surface as beyond a surprise. He could barely think, his body acting on instinct as it fought to find purchase on something, anything, to hold his head out of water. His hand hit something hard and wooden and he latched on desperately.

The climb out of the water and up the side of the wooden surface was exhausting. And when he got to the deck, he mostly just collapsed onto it, breathing heavily while his head struggled to clear.]

Can you hear me? Are you alright?

-The voice probably seemed far away, a sigh from the darkness. But he'd definitely feel hands on his chest, pressing, trying to bring him back from that darkness.-

Link! Link!

-More pressing. Again. It feels desperate. The voice is scared. It's familiar, though.-

Come on! Talk to me! Don't pass out now!

-Clearer now. Emerald hair, but not Saria. A noble sounding voice, but not Zelda. Warm hands... that were not always so warm... on his face, slapping him awake gently.-

Link!

[Link knew that face and he knew that voice, too. His eyes blinked blearily open as he came around slowly, trying to place the familiar sight. He'd been in Hyrule for weeks, but a hazy memory of a time before that started to form. A place that wasn't Hyrule. A place where he lived on a ship with-]

Miss Tojiko?

[Link frowned and coughed, his voice sounding odd to his own ears. Maybe there was still water somewhere in his throat?]

I think I'm sick.

[yatteyanyo]

-Wait... Tojiko eased away from him under the guise of giving him space, but... Okay, this was definitely A Link, but it certainly wasn't the Link she thought it was, but... still familiar. Not their first officer but... She leaned in, astounded.-

You... grew. -To say the lease.

[Grew? What was she talking about?]

My throat doesn't feel funny, but my voice sounds weird. I was just in Hyrule, too. I was back home, Miss Tojiko. I was helping Zelda like the Great Deku Tree told me to.

[Link put pressure on his right hand to push himself up. His hand felt weird, like it was covered in something. When he looked down, he was surprised to see it was covered in something. Brown leather. And it was so big. His had was big.

Link pushed himself up, sitting on his knees as he examined his arm. His bigger, more muscled arm that led up to his thicker shoulder. Then down to his much bigger chest and legs that were like a grown Hylian's. At that point, he freaked out a little, both hands going to his face to feel around it.

He was bigger. His body was big, like an adult.

In a panic, he grabbed for his friend and held onto her tightly.]

Miss Tojiko? What happened?

[It's hard not to hear a commotion on a ship, and it isn't too long before Sasuke has heard that the younger Link has returned, though there are nowhere near enough details for his liking. He's knocking on the boy's door not long after being informed that the intruder splashing aboard was indeed their missing member.]

Link. Are you in there?

[There is no immediate response from behind the door. Nor could the usual loud shuffle of feet be heard. But a few silent moments later, the door was quietly opened and a boy that looked more like a slightly younger version of the First Mate peeked out from behind it. His eyes wide and unsure, he nodded at his captain and then looked down. Scared that Sasuke might not believe him, might kick him out of what he had come to call home.]

[He's about to knock again, impatient, when the door opens on what he at first thinks is the older Link. A closer look clears that confusion up, and Sasuke is forced to see what he'd heard from others: that the boy had come back different.

Is this what Hajime was talking about, months ago?]

Why didn't you answer?

[Link looked down and away, still hiding behind the door as he answered quietly.]

My voice sounds strange to my ears.

[It had already moved past the broken voice of someone in puberty. It was surprisingly deep, even when so softly spoken. Not as deep as some, but deeper than even Sasuke's. 'Robust' by some standards.]

[Stomps out onto the deck sometime this afternoon, waving a newspaper around and sounding a bit miffed over something or over, but really, what else is new.]

Has anyone else seen this?! They've made a bloody mistake under my name!

[A glance up, and Itachi already knows what Draco is fuming about.]

... I wasn't aware you had any interest in being hunted.

[Whirls around, still brandishing the paper.]

I don't, I have zero interest in having some kind of price on my head as though I were an escapee from Azkaban, but this is just insulting! It's a fraction of everyone else's!!

[Itachi casually slips down off the barrel he'd been sitting on.]

You should see it as an advantage.

How? It's as though they don't see me as a viable threat!

Your brother's is ridiculous. [Scoffs.] Just because he blew up an island or something. Hmph.

I don't see a mistake.

[He's not sure how the Navy is determining bounties exactly. There doesn't seem to be any real math behind it. However, Draco's seems perfectly reasonable to him.]

[POINTS AT IT. And then moves the paper closer and points again. Since clearly you're blind or something.]

I'm missing a zero!

[He can shoot down helicopters with a handgun, Draco. His eyesight is just fine. It's his personality that needs adjusting.]

That would put you on par with the rest of the crew, so that wouldn't be accurate.

[Scowls and throws his arms up, because why pitch a fit unless you're doing it with dramatic flair.]

Why does everyone assume I'm useless?! I have top marks at school, you know, I'm good at magic, especially considering I'm underage.

[It's not like he's not accustomed to hearing Draco yelling, but this is at a timbre more aggrieved than usual, so Sasuke glances up from his perusal of the map to frown down at Draco from the mast.]

Did someone spell your name wrong? [And then after a moment --] Is that a newspaper?

[The second question knocks him out of his tantrum briefly, and he blinks at the paper he's holding.]

It's more an updated report of bounties, as well as a stack of posters for those who have them. I think we should get yours framed.

[...Then he remembers he's supposed to be in a snit, and scowls.]

Mine, however, is ridiculous.

[Ah, that's actually useful. Sasuke holds a hand out, imperious:] Show me.

[He means the whole thing, but he also assumes Draco will point out whatever the problem with his listing is.]

5/27 - that pink mist

[Itachi might have avoided being aged down earlier, but he knows he's being affected by something now. He knows because he's never this amused by anything. It bothers him, but at the same time he knows it could be a lot, lot worse.

As good as he is at hiding his emotions, he can be caught smiling a lot more than usual today. Keeping himself occupied doesn't seem to help him much.

And heaven forbid he actually comes across anything he might find the slightest bit amusing.]

[Sasuke is unaffected by the pink mist in any way except being thoroughly annoyed by its colour and unavoidable presence. It's unnatural, and they've already had enough that is unnatural this month without more of it, especially with -- not that he cares, not in any way that isn't practical -- Sakura and Naruto still gone from the ship even after the younger Link has returned.

He's feeling the cramped space aboard the larger ship already, taking to the highest parts of the rigging, and it's only when he's stopped down for a meal that he notices Itachi's smiles.

There's at least that, though it's unusual -- he stops with a hunk of hard-as-nails bread in hand.]

You look cheerful, brother.

[He's still smiling a little when he looks up at his brother's comment, though he does his best to tone it down so it's just the slightest of upward turns at the edges of his mouth.]

... Yes. I think it's - [Oh no. Don't say it.]

[He's going to say it.]

-- Something in the air.

[And he has to clear his throat, his smile growing. It's not even that funny of a pun.]

[... well, Itachi certainly seems to have enjoyed his own joke. Sasuke looks dubiously around at the fog, just in case there's actually something there, and then back at his unusually jovial brother.]

Do you mean literally? [He hasn't actually taken a look at the journal yet this morning, and he's thinking that perhaps he was remiss not to do so.]
