Riddle Me This
Who: The Contestants!
Where: A certain villa on an undisclosed island
When: May 30th-June 1st
What: Contests and Schmoozing with a chance at a prize or two
Warnings: Your usual
Status: Closed
Contestants will be able to use the Nav (regardless of when they last used it) to port over to the villa early in the morning on the 30th, though the contest won't start until mid-afternoon and carry into the evening until it's cut off for a formal dinner.
On the 31st, the schedule is much the same, mixed with a leisurely morning breakfast. Midafternoon the contest will recommence and that evening there will be a celebratory dinner out near the reflecting pool.
On the 1st, participants will be given another breakfast and will be able to wrap up what they've got going on, but will be shuffled off the island by mid-afternoon.
Contestants are able to have the run of the house and the grounds, but if they persist in trying to go beyond the terracotta walls that surround the estate, they will be disqualified and sent back to their ship.

Round 3: Grab Bag
This round takes place in the mid-afternoon on the 31st. On an atmospheric note, it's started to drizzle slightly and the air smells of lemon]
[ooc: much as before, I'll add winners as they come]
Anji Mito
Celebrating year to year.
Starting from, not all thrive.
Winners all who come out alive.

This is Port Chance's Ghost Race, is it not?

Cynthia
Nothing to bar her course they say.
At the great house, she'll make herself known.
Then always, always, back to home.

Mitsunari Ishida
Through curse or flood or wind or fire.
Keeping those here forever to stay.
But others, sent out on seas to play.

What?! Do not joke with me!

Nico Robin
Never a blessing, sometimes a curse.
A mouth and mouths, hungry to feed.
And has been once consumed with greed.

The kraken's nest?
[Robin realizes how uncertain she sounds, takes a deep breath, and says with more certainty.]
The one where the shard was found. The first recovered by one of Davy Jones' sailors.

[he says from another room across the way in a megaphone constructed of paper]
C-c-c-congratulations.

Thank you. Would you perhaps answer a riddle of my own?

A man brushes your elbow.
What do you do then?
(no subject)
Bepo
Able to see in the dark.
What is there may not yet be.
For what it seems you do not see.

[so have a worn out looking bear, a bit slumped as he says...]
The living stone statue of Marble-tear island?

I'm so glad that's over. I don't want to look at another book or map for a while.

D-don't f-fret, my friend.
