Oh starry night, come and chart a course
Who: Jean Grey + any and all Spades welcome
Where: The Sun
When: Early June, soon after she's invited? I'm all for flexible timing if you are >.>
What: How about another Phoenix on board, huh guys? Huh?
Warnings: With Jean? Could be anything from unzipping your pants for you to trying to atomize you.
Style: Prose preferred
Status: Open
Despite the Phoenix's bravado on the strange journal network, Jean herself is nervous about this. Not the teleportation thing; even if something goes wrong, there probably isn't anyone here who deserves more to have her molecules scrambled across the atmosphere. Not even seeing Logan again, though she knows the Phoenix is strangely quiet about that, which worries her. No, it's being on that ship, around other people. She knows Logan can take care of himself, that he can survive her, but what about the rest of them? What if she hurts someone? Kills them?
So she takes her time before visiting the Brig, and even then she hesitates before stepping within range of what they call the Naviraimant. But where else can she go? At least if Logan is around he can stop her. Like before.
Jean takes a deep breath and steps forward; in the next instant she's enveloped in a bright white light that seems almost familiar. And in the next after that, she's on board the Sun.

She steels herself. Pushes her emotions down as deep as she can. When Logan finally does show, she hopes she's not betraying too much of them.
"You really are here." Flat and neutral as she can manage.

When he did see her, and she spoke, there was a wave of relief. "I was about to say the same thing." She really was here, and this wasn't in his god damn head again. Right? He wasn't dreaming, was he?

"You should stay away from me."

He kept back a bit, and when she said that he was alsmot glad he could give her the space. "If that's what you want, Jean." He said on a breath, unsure if he was going to be okay with that. "I had to... see you though." He doesn't want to stay away from her.

"It is what I want." Up to this point she's been keeping up a good poker face, but this is a complete lie and it shows in her eyes, and the tremor in her voice.

"Jean, honey, I can avoid you as best as I can, but I can't help if you wont let me near. It's safe here. People like us." And if she didn't back off he'd come a little closer. "I aint gonna hurt ya, and I wont let you hurt anyone either."
no subject
"Oh, yeah?" Her eyes blaze with a strange, dark fire, her voice a deep growl. "How are you gonna stop me?"
no subject
"Whatever I need to do. Though I'm hoping you let me, or at least someone here, in close enough to help you from getting to a destructive level. Jeanie, it's different here. You can start over fresh here. Ya just have to give these people a chance."
