What:  A combination log to include the following subjects:
             Welcoming a new crew member!!!
             A Casual Dinner Conversation
             The Tragedy of Eternal Bliss
             The copycat destruction of Deesuko Ballia
             And whatever else comes up~!

When everyone had returned to their own ages, it had been expected by some that things would return to some semblance of normalcy. Unfortunately, there had been a slight hiccup in that plan but by roughly the 7th or 8th that too was put right. The stop at Himmelin had also afforded the crew an opportunity to break into a new line of trading that should fill their pockets with dubloons given enough time and the right connections.

With this stroke of good fortune.. surely more was to come........

"Not well."

The words were bluntly offered but not expanded on any further than that as Haytham walked over to collect a chair and take a seat on the other side of the table. Harlock had seen for himself how badly she had taken the massacre. Wounds like that did not heal easily. He imagined several sleepless nights in his future and not solely because Elissa would be tossing and turning... there were measures that needed to be plotted as well.

"What are you researching?"

Trying to track our latest fire starter. From today's little event looks like most of the sociopaths that aren't with the Spades are on that boat." The Spades weren't cheering them on but the former Whitebeards we're a bit to happy to let the world burn. Their current problem seemed way to happy to pick fights, and

"I sorely miss near instantaneous travel across half the galaxy." He doesn't even really care if Haythan understands that or not. "I hate having to tell her this is going to take to find them."

Despite the grimness of the situation Haytham smiled as Harlock spoke of the two crews he had earlier marked as beyond redemption. The Spades and the Bloody Roses. If those two ships could be stopped the rest might have a chance at a more peaceful existence and the poor islanders would be a good sight better off without them.

"It always takes time. One can not rush these things. But from their past history the Bloody Roses never stay quiet for long. We'll find them before too much time passes."

The best revenge came at the right moment, when it would do the most good. There was no sense in charging in and getting killed. There needed to be strategy. What Elissa had proposed... was just too reckless.

"'Half the galaxy' is an odd turn of phrase. I gather the ships in your time must be a good deal faster."

"True, my instinct is to jump in and settle things if someone starts something." In the Sea of Stars he couldn't really afford to be lenient with the other pirates. Harlock didn't want to think who'd be the next group the Roses decided to push around.


"I never really bothered to ask you or Conner for dates but you'r from the 18th century? For me it's the 30th, we have ships capable of traveling the distance between stars." Even below deck he can't help but look up towards the stars he knows are up there.

"The last I recall it was 1755, I presume Connor to be from a time much after that."

He was clearly a fully grown man and not a child though how old Connor might be Haytham could only guess at. Depending on when he was conceived... er, awkward even to think about really. Moving on!

"Difficult to imagine being able to travel between stars."

But he doesn't question that it will prove possible. People could, when directed properly, come up with some truly amazing things.

"All of this must seem very old fashioned to you. Have you ever considered striking up a deal with Ms. Margie to purchase back a few of the futuristic innovations you had at home?"
