Bloody Roses, how close we're sailing is up to you guys though probably not enough to just casually swing over without some ability. However, feel free to come encounter us at any time on the island!

Straw Hats, enjoy the veggie rain! Also remember our NPC pirates are Mama's Bone Boys who will attack us intermittently throughout the journey and send spies on board. Let's save the major boss battles til the finale, though, shall we? But otherwise, have fun!

Not really. Wanna go in for a bit? [he points to the roof of the covered crow's nest]

[She eyes the sky for a minute, confused and also somewhat wary. As if it might drop something larger any minute. Like a giant pumpkin.] That's probably a good idea.

[allendsmeat]

[he's gotten clonked on the head by a pumpkin before. It's no big deal if you're made of rubber]

Yosh. [he gets up and clambers over the roof a little to open a trap door] This way. [he'll wait til she's safely in before following]

[Anna is not made of rubber. So she's thankful when they're safely inside the crow's nest and don't have to worry about being hit with anymore vegetables. She sighs as she sits down, hugging her knees to her chest.]

Anyway, about Elsa... I mean, I've been waiting thirteen years for her to open the door again, you know? And in the time I'm from, she's finally letting me in again, talking to me and you know, actually interacting with me. So it... It will be hard... If she's from any time before me... [She bites her lip and looks at Luffy.] Did you talk to her? A-about me, I mean? I'm assuming you probably talked to her...

[allendsmeat]

[absently plays with a squash that fell in, bouncing it from hand to hand. If he had a marker he'd put a face on it. He sticks his tongue between his lips and tries to scratch one in with his fingertip]

Dunno. Anyway that's there and here's here. It's hard sometimes but it'll work out.

[alovingheart]

[Anna fiddles with the hem of her skirt, smiling a little.] ...You're probably right about that. I mean, it eventually worked out back home, so there's no reason it shouldn't work out here, right? I mean it may take a little longer, but...

[She shrugs her shoulders just a bit, then visibly relaxes, resting her arms on top of her knees instead of hugging them to her chest.] It'll all be worth it in the end. And in the meantime, I'll have new friends to help us both through it.

She wanted you here to keep you safe. That's what she said. [he stands, balancing the squash on his head]

Big brothers are like that, too. They just wanna do what's best I think. [Like Sabo going off, and Ace not telling him what really happened.] So don't worry about that too much. But, Anna...

[he takes the squash off, holding in his hands and looking at her]

You can do whatever you want... but you gotta put your life on the line for it. We're going to fight some really strong people some day so you have to be ready.

[She finds herself staring at her shoes as she listens to him. Elsa wanted her here to keep her safe. That certainly sounded like pre-thaw Elsa, but... Just how far back, she's not sure. Luffy tells her not to worry about it, but it's not something Anna can let go so easily, not after everything that had happened back home...

She turns her head to face him when he looks at her, and she nods in understanding.] I will! I'll do whatever it takes.

[grin] Yosh. [he stands]

Na, want me to show you around? We've got lots of cool stuff!

[alovingheart]

[She stands as well.] Sure! Think it's stopped raining food yet?

[allendsmeat]

Hahah looks like!

[the crow's nest has windows but it looks pretty clear out there for now.]

Come on!

[he opens the hatch at the bottom and makes his way down the ladder]

[She hesitates for a second, looking down at her skirt. Well... it looks like it's the only way down, so...

Her thought process concludes with what is basically a mental shrug, and she heads down the ladder without really caring all too much if anyone down below on the deck could see her bloomers because. Well. They're bloomers. And these are pirates, not dignitaries from other kingdoms that she needs to impress.

Likely they'll be seeing her in bloomers or possibly even trousers at some point in the future anyway.]

[he sees them briefly and isn't entirely sure why she's wearing pants under a dress but it doesn't matter. He jumps back and lands on deck.] This way.

[and he'll wait til she's down until he shows her the most important room on the ship. Come see the galley!]

Isn't it great?! Shishishi.

[Sanji was probably in the bathroom or something because the galley is empty except for a glass jug of tea]

By the way, are you any good with locks? [staring at the one on the fridge for no particular reason whatsoever]

[She skips the last few rungs and drops down easily, looking fairly proud of herself when she doesn't even so much as sway or lose her balance. But she doesn't celebrate long, because now she's following Luffy to the galley.]

Locks? Well... I, uh, I used to try picking them when I was younger, but... [Usually the kitchen pantry. Occasionally rooms in odd wings of the castle she'd been super curious about. (Never a room that people were occupying, though. If a room that was occupied was locked, it meant they didn't want you around. Unoccupied rooms were totally fair game though when you're like ten and have nothing better to do but explore every inch of the castle.) She hadn't always been successful in her lock-picking endeavors, but on occasion, she had.]

...Couldn't you just ask someone to open it for you, though? I mean... You are the captain.

Yeah I can but they don't wanna do that. [arm fold] It's definitely a problem.

[there's meat in there he can't get. booo.]

Well, nevermind. This way!

[out of the galley now and lightly jogging to the other side of the ship, absently dodging a small hail of brussel sprouts]

[She thinks it's a little odd that his own crew won't open something when he wants it open, but... Well, whatever the reason for that is, she'll probably find out eventually now that she's part of his crew.

Anna follows him quickly, and isn't quite as successful while dodging the vegetables - she gets one stuck in her hair very briefly and has to shake it out before continuing.] Ugh-- So where are we going now?

Here! [he opens the door and goes in. It used to be a store room but now it's kind of a sitting room. There are small couches and some books and a fish tank with some fish swimming around.

A very tiny pink elephant is resting on one of the couches, giving them a dirty look and feel free to play with the grumpy palm sized thing while Luffy presses his face to the aquarium glass]

Yoo, Army! Are you sleeping?

[Anna takes a peek inside before following him in, doing a 360 turn to look at everything. She stops at the tiny pink thing and tilts her head slightly. That was rather unusual. She'll head over to it, pausing for a moment to look back at Luffy, a smile returning to her face as she watches him press his face against the aquarium.]

Who's Army? Also... what in the world is this thing? [She points down at the elephant as she's standing at the couch it's resting on.]

This is Army. [gestures to the mottled octopus that's climbing up Luffy's arm from the tank. It waves a tentacle as if in greeting]

That's Trunks. I guess she's a elephant but there are a lot of them there. She can blow bubbles when she's in a good mood or if you poke her on the butt enough-- but then she gets grumpy.

Oh, it's an octopus! I've never actually seen one before. Except in books. Same with elephants, but I'm pretty sure most of them are supposed to be pretty big. So they're both from around here?

[allendsmeat]

Yeah there was this pretty cool island with a whole bunch of weird animals. They weren't all grumpy though.

[holds out the octopus]

Watch!

[and the skin color shifts and changes so that at the end, the octopus has more or less copied Anna's face]

[That's... Actually a little bit disturbing. Immediately she takes a step back, and, well, she's not really sure what to say about it.] Oh, that's, uhm. I didn't-- I didn't know they could do that...

[allendsmeat]

Yeah. It's cool right? He can do others too. [a few of the tentacles wrap around his wrist and pretty soon the octopus is a copy of his grinning face]

I bet Robin could teach him to read and then we could talk to him since Chopper's not here.

[She laughs a little. While she was initially shocked and disturbed, it's probably something she'll get used to, as she does with most things.] Well, it's certainly an unusual talent.
