Bloody Roses, how close we're sailing is up to you guys though probably not enough to just casually swing over without some ability. However, feel free to come encounter us at any time on the island!

Straw Hats, enjoy the veggie rain! Also remember our NPC pirates are Mama's Bone Boys who will attack us intermittently throughout the journey and send spies on board. Let's save the major boss battles til the finale, though, shall we? But otherwise, have fun!

[he sends a few more flying before Zoro gets there, putting his foot up on the railing as people are calling out to the subcommander, asking for orders. Luffy looks down at the man on the little boat, fists clenched, glaring at him, letting the anger radiate off him. He wasn't going to let anyone back on the Merrily.

After a moment, the man calls a retreat. He watches them for a moment pull the guys back on their boats and start to row off before turning away and sitting on the railing. There's a bit of shrapnel in his leg and he takes it out, throwing it over his shoulder into the sea. Then takes the shirt out of his pocket and looks at it. It's pretty torn up and there's blood on it.

It's not the hat... and it's just something Usopp brought here a while ago but...]

[Satisfied that they've repelled the attack, Zoro sheathes his swords one by one and stands there watching the boat retreat. Out of the corner of his eye he catches Luffy's movements, breathing a quiet sigh.]

You all right?

[he looks at the shirt a bit longer. Keimi can fix it. The blood will probably wash out. Maybe Usopp will want it back when he comes back and maybe not. He tries to fold it right for now but he's not very good with folding and it keeps coming out weird]

Mm. [he is. Even with this. He really wants to catch up with Usopp but he can't right now so--]

He would've had fun with this rain. We should save a vegetable for him.

[aww, Luffy. He smiles faintly]

Pretty sure vegetables go bad if you try to save 'em too long.

[he gets it, though. After a moment he leans over to check Luffy's cuts, but they don't look bad at all.]

He'd be pissed if we got rid of his workshop, though.

Yeah I guess so. [it's too bad it wasn't a rain of something more interesting and long lasting]

Yeah. I was going through it. He left some interesting stuff. Some weird beans, too. [he was tempted to see what it tasted like but...]

Beans? [derp. Uh oh.] Watch out for those, they might be weapons.

Ehh really? [too bad he never got to see them. He glances where the bone guys are small in the distance and then back to where his fish is, stuffing the shirt back in his pocket as he spots two of the huge butcher knives still lodged in the daikon. He pulls them out easily]

What should we do with 'em?

Give 'em to the cook. You know how pissed he gets when people use kitchen knives as weapons.

You really think he'd like something like this? [they are pretty cool. He pulls them out of the radish and begins to flip them, seeing if he can catch them by the handle--though nearly cuts his arm off once or twice]

[not going to stop him because really, what good would it do? He wouldn't learn until he cuts something off. His eye follows the juggling, though.]

Yeah, he's gone one like it, I think. They're kitchen knives and that's his thing, right?

haha I guess so! [yelps and moves his foot back before he impales it. He yanks the butcher knife out of the deck]

Yosh. [turns them toward Zoro] Here you go.

...oh, so it's up to me to give 'em to him.

[he makes a face but really, it's just to hide that he's interested to see the look on Sanji's face when he does it. He takes them and twirls them a lot more deftly before grasping the handles together in one hand and turning them so they're held safely against his flank.]

Well yeah it's a gift right? We can bring him some vegetables, too. [there were plenty of them but a gift wasn't a gift without food]

Yeah, he'll kick our asses if we throw out any of this food that's been raining from the sky. [bad smirk] Or he'll try, anyway.
