Hazmats vs Shepherds
Who: Hazmat crew, Shepherds of racing justice, and the Red Eyes (NPC crew)
Where: at sea, and then on Safario Island
When: 7/6 through 7/31 ALL MONTH, ALL RACE
What: the entirety of the racing shenanigans for these two crews plus their NPC foes. First sailing to Safario, then to Ebony & Ivory, and then a final climactic showdown on Dnalsi.
Warnings: let me know if any besides shounen violence
Style: anything you want
Status: closed to members of Hazmat and Shepherd crews
Considering that the Friend Ship set out safely and securely after the race's start, the U.S.S. Booyakasha II had a bit of a head start at first, but between Scurvey Dog's delightful gift of chickens and the ensuing vegetable rain, they slowed down after the first day. Will it be for long, considering they have an Avatar on board? Let's find out!
The first token is located on Safario, in the East, a place of bizarre animals and sandy beaches and not a hell of a lot else. Who will have to fight who in order to safely land their ships and find the jerk with the token clue? Can they brave the Red Eyes with their poisoned sabers as well as vicious winged bears? The Shepherds take it, but can they keep it?
From there it's on to the strange island of Ebony & Ivory, where the island itself may not look dangerous but the culture has surprises in store for them. There's a week of strange rainbows and anglerfish to battle on the way to it.
The final stop is the cloud island Dnalsi, where everything is upside down and the laws of physics don't apply. What kind of place is this for a final battle, and who's going to end up with all the tokens? What if it's the Red Eye crew?
[ooc: information on our adversaries and route is here. Make your own starter threads for any time/location during the entirety of the race: Safario, E&I, Dnalsi, or any of the strange phenomenon and sailing times in between.]

open, 6-10 Hazmats 11-13 both crews
And then, vegetables. Well, now they have all the ingredients for chicken noodle soup. Of note, there is also a rooster onboard now. The weeniest little rooster you ever did see, but boy, can he crow loud. Woe to anyone who tries to stick him in the men's cabin at five in the morning.
Once they land on Safario, Gan Ning is one of the first off the ship, racing to find the officiant and get into a scuffle with him to get the token clue. But just having the clue doesn't mean he's going to be the first to actually find it...]
11-13 Race for the token, because why not.
Sorry mister, but you did try to punch me first.
[With the clue now in hand, it will be a race towards finding it as he spots someone he didn't recognize from his crew. Well this might be someone he has to go up against while finding this token. So quickly heading back to the forested area, he manages to snap one tree in half and used that to aim to towards the unknown man, hoping that it might bind him some time to get some sort of a head start. So have half a tree coming at you at 20-30 mph.]
beautiful
That hesitation nearly costs him. As he's standing there, he hears something coming up behind him and turns to see A WHOLE FRIGGIN TREE flying through the air. He doesn't even have time to yell out some choice ancient Chinese cusswords, he just yelps and throws himself flat on the ground.
As soon as it's safe, he springs up again, no longer concerned about the smart thing to do.]
Oi, who's out there? Who threw that? You're gonna pay for that!
[instead of searching for the token, he cuts sideways to try to find the guy who can throw trees.]

Where was his crew when he needed them to help.]

He lowers his sword, and his guard.]
Hey! Did you see the guy who can knock down trees and throw 'em at people? I gotta bone to pick with him...
no subject
I'm sorry. [he bows slightly.] My aim was way off, it wasn't suppose to go at you. Though I feel bad for doing it to a tree in the first place.
no subject
[looks him over, mentally comparing him to someone like Huang Gai, who would totally rip trees out of the ground if he could.]
No way!

It's true, really!

[he's forgotten all about chasing, the token, and several other things, jabbing the tip of River Master into the turf and leaning on the sword]
no subject
[He tilts his head slightly. What did he mean by that exactly? Did he not believe him? To be honest not many usually would the first time they see it. It wasn't until they saw him in action that they knew.]
no subject
[he really does have to see this for himself before he can continue on. Though, he may find his intention to fight is very different afterward.]
no subject
[He didn't get the meaning of the sentence, but never the less he knew it was him that did it.]
Why would you even want someone to pull your leg in the first place?
no subject
It's a figure of speech! Never mind. Even if you're that dumb, you're part of the other crew and I can't let ya get the token ahead of me.
no subject
Same here, but for all I know my crew might already have gone on ahead. [He looks down and pauses slightly.]
I may not be good at most things, but I am good at protecting. So keeping you away might be a good idea, don't you think
[He gives his usual cutesy smile, gripping his hands slightly before going in for a punch. Odds are if he missed the ground will sadly end up with a hole in it.]
no subject
....dammit. Damn. You...how did you...?
no subject
I am a servant of Ciel Phantomhive. It would make him look bad if I couldn't do something as simple as fight.
[He pretty much grins at this point before he starts to run, knowing full well that the other would either try and go after him like he hoped or try and find the token.]
