[Direction from Isla Empieza]: Somewhere in the South.

[Terrain]: Clouds and rose quartz gemstones. Wild twisted thorn jungles and cities built out of crystal pillars.

[Weather]: Crystal clear. It’s always warm and bright, thanks to the sunlight reflecting off the stones. It’s best to wear a pair of tinted sunglasses the entire time you are here. Light storms hover over the jungles once in a while but otherwise the island floats high enough that it’s almost always perfect weather.

[Is the island inhabited?]: Yes!

[If so, what is the culture like here?]: The people of the island are very short, the tallest standing around four foot tall, rounded faces, feet flat and duck like, body rounded but human. They are all slightly pink tinted in hair, like everything else around this place. The people here have learned to carve out huge villages in the centers of rose courts crystal pillars. They hunt for food, mostly birds, in the twisting thorn forest.

[Island peculiarities]: The jungles are light brown, pink to green and roll round and round in thick loops, twisting around each other. When tapped the sap inside the twisted tree like roots and thorny vines are sweet and almost intoxicating if you’re not raised on the stuff. Traders will sometimes come and collect sap for sale on the seas.

The island is made up purely of crystal stone, rose colored, jutting out here and there. There is a large deep patch of earth in the far northern side of the island that grows a forest, but nothing else will actually grow there. No crops are made here. This jungle however is FULL of birds. The larger crystal pillars can be hollowed out to build homes in.

The clouds under the city keep it hidden from the seas below, but the vines in the north have gotten so large and so wild that through the clouds thick spiny arms seem to grow and twist under the island as well.

The only food here is some form of bird or another, or strips of baked vines from the forest.

Full jars of sap tapped from the trees of this place fetch a nice price on the "below seas".

[As soon as those vine pieces hit the ground, they glow with a yellow light, lift up into the air, then zip off into the jungle. Just inside the treeline, a princess pony in a cowboy duster is cheerfully stealing her hard work away.]

*What...the hell? Faye stares at the yellow light, not sure what the heck is going on here. Maybe it was a magical bird stealing away her vines. Faye walks in the direction they went, only to discover...*

What? They have unicorns here too?

Oh no, I'm afraid not. Properly, I am an alicorn, not a unicorn. The wings, you see. [She spreads them slightly further, a calm if somewhat sly smile on her face to match her tone.]

What the -?!

*Faye just stands and stares at the...whatever kind of corn it is*

You can speak. And understand what I'm saying? This island is weird...

*Assuming that this unicorn belongs to this particular jungle*

I can speak perfectly well, yes. But... [She glances up at her cowboy hat, pulled down low, with an amused smile.] Perhaps you'd understand better if this hat were straw?

*Faye is staring, rather rudely, but the last (and only) other unicorn thing she'd met couldn't talk. She looks at the hat, then at the talking horse lady, then at the hat*

What the hell? Straw hat? You're a Straw Hat?

Now you understand. [Celestia smiles brightly.] And I'm afraid I'm here to sabotage your efforts to find the token.

So you were the one that stole all my bits of vine away?

*Faye stared at the pony thing and shrugged a shoulder*

Look, you can fly, your're an animal. Shouldn't it be ten times easier for you to find it?

Perhaps, but I don't feel any desire to harm a living creature for the sake of recovering a token. So rather than aid my crew in doing so, I have elected to sabotage your crew's efforts. [She says this all with calm, content serenity, as always.]

*Faye just stares at her, like she's incredibly unimpressed by all of this*

How lazy are you?

*Not that Faye has any particular right to be calling anyone lazy...*

Oh, not particularly, although I admit I'm not working quite as hard here in this world as I was back home.

So you thought it would be okay to just steal all of my own hard work instead?

*Faye frowns and gestures to the jungle floor. Her hard work totalled up to as much as throwing crums around*

It seems elegant, don't you think? It stops you from collecting the token, and makes it easier for my crew. You might say it's two birds with one stone.

[myfayevalentine]

Elegant? I call it lazy and rude, to be perfectly honest. Your crew are nice enough and everything, but I have my own crew to collect the token for, thank you very much.

[Lazy AND rude? This is the first time anyone has ever described her like that.... ever! Maybe she is becoming a good pirate after all!]

Well, yes, but you see, if your crew collects the token, mine doesn't.

[myfayevalentine]

*Faye just stares at the unicorn thing for a moment. She's considering adding stupid to the list of things she has called her*

Really. I hadn't thought of it that way. How silly of me.

*She continues to offer a very deadpan stare, her voice dripping with sarcasm*

Oh, well! I'm glad to have enlightened you, then!

[Now Celestia is just being willfully obtuse, though her brilliant smile has more than a bit of sly teasing behind it.]

Quite. And now I'm also enlightened as to how lucky your crew are...

*With a similar smile of her own given right back at her*

I think 'luck' is one of their primary virtues. But augmented with a good deal of skill as well. It takes both to succeed. [She'll just be over here answering everything at face value...]

That's great. So if your crew have all the luck and skill, then maybe I just shouldn't bother. No sense in me hanging around for nothing...

*Which also means she's going to give up on chucking bits of vines around. It wasn't like it seemed to work anyway*

If you give up completely, that would make our job that much easier. But wouldn't you be letting your crew down?

My crew? Judging by how you stole away my plan... I had assumed that you didn't care much about my crew. I'll deal with them.

*Faye waves a dismissive hand, knowing very well that there were other members of her crew that were no doubt trying much harder and more successfully than she was*
