[If so, what is the culture like here?]: The legend goes that King Ukir of Darkcloud Kingdom is a very, very old man who decided he didn’t want to live on the ocean one day. He lived in a very large city wide tower that housed many of his loyal subjects and at the top of it was one very large ‘sun stone’ a yellow gem that helped the kingdom thrive. Making a deal with a mysterious man, King Ukir was granted a long life and a levitating island. The clouds around the earth hide it from the sea below and help hold it in the sky. The clouds are fluffy but dense, able to walk on them the darker they are. The father out you walk, the more of a chance you have to fall off.

[Island peculiarities]: There are several huge tunnels in the island, where propellers can be lowered and pushed out, spinning to propel the island in case of need to move it, though they are rarely used. Emergency reasons only.

The clouds are huge and from below they look like an enormous storm cloud. The piece of land is supported by the clouds, floating in them. You can park a boat in the darker clouds, but lighter ones are more apt to sink a ship, very slowly. Walking the clouds feels springy and light, but the whiter the cloud the less safe it is.

It’s rare that anyone comes here, so when a ship does make it up here it’s almost a bit celebration. The people of the city tend to like good people who come with fun things to trade. It’s too hard for them to get anything from below so come with some fine goods! the people of the Darkcloud Kingdom are very fine seamstresses and tailors. Light flowing silkish clothing and wide footed cloud shoes that work very well in most clouds and even help some fast people run on water.

There is a large purple glowing tree hanging off one cliff. This tree is huge, branches stretching out and trunk wide. Its roots wrap around the cliff and through it. the fruit from this tree is what the locals call Cloud Fruits and eating a ripe fruit will leave the person happy and light feelings (which also makes it easier to walk on the clouds in further regions). An unripened cloud fruit is very hard and will weigh a person down, not only in weight but in bad thoughts.

Names, Kat. Did you even get the names of these eye candy guys? But no matter - you're right. Need to find a guy that's hot and not stupid. Like the guy that took me on that romantic date... But you can't have him. I've called the shots on that one.

*Faye shook her head at Kat then took back the blue dress, then handed her a deep emeraldgreen one, that would suit her complexion much more*

I forgot. I think it started on 'S' or something. [Well done Kat. It shows just how much of attention span she has regarding these things. But she's alright with just watching- assassins don't usually do more than that.] Don't worry, I don't want your romantic baby.

[She takes the dress and checks it out then shrugs-] Alright. [She looks around for changing room and is led to one by a merchant.] If I look like broccoli in this, it's your fault. [-is last thing she adds before stepping in to change.]

*Faye laughed at Kat and waved a hand as though she didn't really care. Though, really, Faye was inwardly pleased to hear that Kat wouldn't be seeking romance from Faye's own catch, as it were*

Good. I don't like sharing.

*When Kat went to change, Faye rolled her eyes. She wondered if maybe she should have given Kat an uglier dress. She knew Kat would look stunning in that colour, and worried ahe wouldn't find anything as nice to wear for herself*

Whatever. Just try it on.

[Kat doesn't like sharing, although she was never in situation to share men. But it applies there as well. She can be quite possessive.]

They should have taught how to zip up dresses back at the academy... [-is the only complaint that comes from the dressing room, and directed more to herself than complaining to Faye.

She's done in sever moments and steps out, trying to straighten out the dress- she felt as if she got stuck in a bag.]

*Kat looked stunningly good, but Faye wasn't about to say that. Instead, she raised a brow slightly and gave a nod of her head as she assessed the dress on her*

You look like men would want to eat you alive. Which is exactly what you want when you're going out catching eye candy.

*She said it simply and straight forward*

[Kat walked over to the mirror to see how it looks on her. It was revealing but it was probably the point of night-dresses... right? She feels as if she wrapped curtain around her body, but she has no right to complain.]

If we take in my opinion, then I wouldn't be wearing dress right now.

[But she looks back at the mirror and tilts her head- it actually... doesn't look all that bad.]

But... I think I can work with this.

*Faye smirked a little at her comments and shrugged her shoulders*

Whatever you think is just too bad. I won the bet so what I say goes.

*Wandering back to the stall, Faye picked out a similar dress, but in a red colour*

And I'll wear this. Together we'll be the most attractive things in the bar for sure. The men won't know what's hit them.

[Katarina chuckles-]

Oh they'll know what hit them. They just won't know how to deal with it.

[She takes a look in the mirror again and... her eyes fall on the boots.]

We need heels as well, don't we?

There, see? You're already getting in the spirit of things.

*Faye chuckled as she took her dress to go try on. She continued to chat to Kat, calling through the curtain, as she tried on the dress*

Uh, of course. The heels are a vital part of the outfit. See any you like?

[Katarina doesn't know whether she's getting in spirtis of things or now- but if Faye says she is, then she's probably right.

Katarina looks around the shelves and spots some cream shoes with green... thingies... on it. They look decent and not overly tall. She picks them up-]

How about these?

*Faye stepped out from where she'd been trying on the dress, wearing it as she walked over to inspect the shoes. She smiled a little and nodded in approval*

You're getting better at this.

[She looks at the shoes she's holding- she is? Katarina shrugs-]

I have no idea if I'm getting better or not. But these don't have very high heel. That's why I took them.

[She's not making same mistake like before.]

*Faye shrugs. Still wearing the dress she was just trying on, Faye bent down to a sparkly black pair of heels, a bit taller than the ones Kat had chosen*

Yeah. This is my oufit sorted.

*So she went back to change into her normal clothes and stepped out to pay for her new clothes*

Maybe we can go out and find a guy that wants to show you a romantic time...

[Katarina gives Faye's shoes a suspicious look- only she can wear things like that. But overall, she looked really nice in that dress. Only Kat is not person to dish out compliments for looks.

She returns to cabin and changes back to her old outfit. Once she's done, she approaches to pay for her clothes as well-]

I... don't think that's good idea. [She's mentally cringing at the visual of her trying to flirt with a guy. Nope. It doesn't ends good.]

*Faye paid for her clothes and shoes which were nicely wrapped and put it in a pretty bag. She stood aside and waited for Kat to pay*

Trust me, that date I had... was incredible. Don't you want that?

[When she was done paying (why do clothes that have so little fabric cost so much!?), Kat takes her bags and joins Faye-]

It's not the matter of me not wanting it. I... [she shrugs-] don't really know how to control my temper sometimes. And it ends up bad. Not very eager to have 'killed a man on her first date' connected to my name.

Then maybe you shouldn't go on dates with guys that piss you off?

*Faye shrugs a little again, then starts walking with their stuff in the general direction of the ship*

The idea is to try and relax... Get him to give you a massage.

Oh? Do you know any method of finding a guy that doesn't piss you off? Because that massage sounds tempting.

Talking to some men helps, and realising that they're definitely going to say things that piss you off, but that they're just being stupid men, and probably not worth murdering.

*She smiled a little as they got closer to the ship*

Guess I have no real method. But if a guy is willing to give you a massage then that's definitely grounds not to kill him either.

If they repeat what those idiots did last time, I won't stab them. No.. I will punch him so hard, he'll think canon ball is softer.

[Katarina snorts-]

I doubt that the guy will offer me a massage immediately as I speak to him. Unless they work as masseuses and give massages for money.

[Ah the ship- it's like her second home to her by now. Still not used to it.]

Punching, I can handle. It was all that sick and twisted stuff with all that blood I didn't like. It's just a waste of your time and energy is all.

*Faye shakes her head at what Kat says, and gives her a mildly confused look*

Uh, no. But if you just want a massage without the romance, then yeah, just go to a spa. Massages should be relaxing...intimate...

*She drifts off as she looks around the ship, thinking a massage sounds pretty good...*

Faye, don't forget you're talking to Kat. Kat and intimacy were never in same room before. At least 'normal' intimacy.]

You shouldn't. It makes you look back, lusting after blood like that. If that's some kind of kink, you really need to leave it in the bedroom.

*Faye smirked a little and nodded as they headed down towards the cabins*

I do. And even better when a hot guy is willing to massage you whenever you like.
