[If so, what is the culture like here?]: The legend goes that King Ukir of Darkcloud Kingdom is a very, very old man who decided he didn’t want to live on the ocean one day. He lived in a very large city wide tower that housed many of his loyal subjects and at the top of it was one very large ‘sun stone’ a yellow gem that helped the kingdom thrive. Making a deal with a mysterious man, King Ukir was granted a long life and a levitating island. The clouds around the earth hide it from the sea below and help hold it in the sky. The clouds are fluffy but dense, able to walk on them the darker they are. The father out you walk, the more of a chance you have to fall off.

[Island peculiarities]: There are several huge tunnels in the island, where propellers can be lowered and pushed out, spinning to propel the island in case of need to move it, though they are rarely used. Emergency reasons only.

The clouds are huge and from below they look like an enormous storm cloud. The piece of land is supported by the clouds, floating in them. You can park a boat in the darker clouds, but lighter ones are more apt to sink a ship, very slowly. Walking the clouds feels springy and light, but the whiter the cloud the less safe it is.

It’s rare that anyone comes here, so when a ship does make it up here it’s almost a bit celebration. The people of the city tend to like good people who come with fun things to trade. It’s too hard for them to get anything from below so come with some fine goods! the people of the Darkcloud Kingdom are very fine seamstresses and tailors. Light flowing silkish clothing and wide footed cloud shoes that work very well in most clouds and even help some fast people run on water.

There is a large purple glowing tree hanging off one cliff. This tree is huge, branches stretching out and trunk wide. Its roots wrap around the cliff and through it. the fruit from this tree is what the locals call Cloud Fruits and eating a ripe fruit will leave the person happy and light feelings (which also makes it easier to walk on the clouds in further regions). An unripened cloud fruit is very hard and will weigh a person down, not only in weight but in bad thoughts.

Grell looks to Bonnie, clearly taken out of her thoughts. She sighs.]

Very much so. A situation has come up, which may or may not involve us all, depending on your preference.

[Arthur came up from his cabin. Really, there were two reasons to hear a horn like that. Either they were to gather, or another ship had come up on them and rang it, either way he'd be coming out in time to hear Grell's response.]

What kind of situation, Captain?

[Seeing Arthur gathered there as well is a relief. She had hoped he would at least be present within moments.]

A few crew members of the Spades have been taken by slavers. And not just any slavers. The navy seems to be arming them with the same chains that cut off our supernatural abilities. As we have an alliance with them, I will assist them any way I can. However, my willingness is not yours.

[The nation growled softly, eyes narrowing under bushy brows.]

No need to ask me twice. You'll have my help.

[With a light smile, Grell nods once to him.]

It will not be a simple task. They managed to capture at least three from their crew, and I doubt they weren't putting up a very good fight. [Her smile fades, though.] We'll have to put our all into the fight.

[That commotion from earlier today. The hunter had yearned to be a part of it, and she had even half disregarded how dangerous it would actually be. But, she wasn't one to pay much attention to how tough a fight would be.

She didn't seem too concerned about the well being of the Spades, but even she could feel the severity of the matter. With a nod and a cross of her arms, she responds.]

I've got nothing but my all to give. I'm in.

[Thash had been talking to Marco a bit himself when the horn sounded so he wasn't on deck instantly, but arrived in time to hear the last few things that had been said. It sounded like Grell was asking for the crew's opinion]

I want to get down there as quickly as we can and kill as many pathetic lowlife slavers as I can. My only question is why aren't we headed that way as we speak?

[his voice was growly and filled with a sense of urgency. He clearly wasn't in the least bit indecisive about this]

We'll want to be suitably cautious, to make sure they don't get those chains around any of us, powers or not.

[He bared teeth, wand at his fingertips.]

But I'm sure we can stratergize underway.

[Hearing Arthur's comment about strategizing underway, he nodded]

I'll weigh anchor, then.

[He wasn't aware of anyone else lingering on the island so it made no sense to stay stationary while those Spade crew members were imprisoned. Unless anyone disagreed, he'd go pull the anchor up and do anything else necessary to help get the ship going]

Make a course for the south. Those with free hands should help with the sails.
