21th-22th: Weather permitting the Maiden's Hair comet should be visible in the sky! *Likely chance of White Comet Empire invaders low.

26th-29th Mist-ery Event! A few of the crew are a bit shimmery and they might not recognize you and trying to touch them will result in loss of a memory.

Harlock's lying on deck arms crossed behind his head. It's been a while since he stared out at the stars. He'd done it often the first few weeks here keeping an eye for unnatural streaks in the sky just for the small chance this was some stop on the Galaxy Railways he'd just never heard of.

"The moon always throws me off, looks way to much like earth's if you ask me."

Hester raises an eyebrow and glances at her captain.

"What other moon would it be?"

Plenty of other planets have moons. Earth's moon is large compared to the size of the planet it's orbiting. Just about every planet in Earth's system has at least one. A few like Titian have colonies in my time. Friend's mother keeps swearing she'll move there.

"I know they have them." She says, all huff. "Just didn't think anyone had been to them." The possibility of space travel died with the ancients and their Sixty Minute War in her time. There are many who still hold to medieval views of the universe, but not her.

Traveling the Sea of Stars is common, booking passage can be a bit expensive.
[Harlock had a best friend with a passion for building ships.] I guess it just means despite butting earth behind me it's still... [He trails off, still torn between love of his home world and the utter disgust at government controlling.] Sometimes this place is like being sent back in time.

"It's a bit...primitive to be going back in time..." To her chronology, farther back is more advanced. Her civilization has repeatedly fallen from grace. "But I guess I get what you're saying."

I would think the technology wouldn't improve further back you go unless you trip over some abandoned outpost left behind by alien visitors.

[Maybe one day he's get close enough to the rule of an invading alien empire to ask why earth was so attractive to races in other galaxies.]

Being in the right spot so you can see a comet is rate no matter where your from.
