Beach party beach party
Who: Hazmat crew!
Where: Aquatica Paradise (and sailing to it if you'd like)
When: appx Sept 24-30 (or, for sailing, anytime the 14-23)
What: VACATION. They've had a rough summer so it's time for some downtime. There are water parks, beaches, and an obligatory onsen, so mix and mingle with the super-happy (and young and pretty) locals and have some fun!
Warnings: not likely
Style: anything you want
Status: closed to Hazmat crew only unless another crew is on the island?
[Gan Ning promised his ragtag crew a party, and by god, they were going to have a party. It might have been worth it to hold on Isla Empieza, to mingle with other crews there, but there wasn't much going on there to stick around for. He heard from someone in the harbor about this island and decided it would make a great place for a party.
Somewhere along the way Raphael disappeared, sadly, but the rest of them continued on. They had already put off partying for too many reasons - a poor showing in the race, other crewmates disappearing, Cynthia's rescue from the clutches of giant spiders, and so on. No more. This time, they were just going to put down anchor, hang out on the beach, make some ice cream, and have a good time. Besides, with Tsuzuki joining the crew, they had to show him that they knew how to stick together, right?

[ She raises her head only to jump at the sight of a misty figure standing next to her. Ok giant spiders were one thing. But no way in HELL she'll be dealing with mist figures on her vacation. ]

[he double-takes, and then triple-takes as a real, honest look at Cynthia, straight on, surprises him. She's sort of shimmery, it's very weird and he hadn't noticed upon spotting her just out of the corner of his eye.]

[ Without even a second thought, the blonde calls out her Garchomp to stand in between them. Now Garchomp was all for ripping someone to shreds to protect her trainer. But she wasn't quite sure what to do when she was faced with...the bell guy. So instead, she'll poke at his bells for a bit. Cynthia was a little surprised to see the misty figure was making bell noises though.]

[in an extremely rare flash of actual brains, Gan Ning gets an idea and hunts around, snatching up a stick that washed up on shore and writing in the sand.
Well. "Writing." He easily draws the characters that form his name, without even realizing that no one else around him can read the Han dialect.]

[ Ok, that looks odd. She KNOWS she's seen those characters somewhere before. Not sure where, and obviously she doesn't understand what they mean. But she's definitely seen them. ]
