Beach party beach party
Who: Hazmat crew!
Where: Aquatica Paradise (and sailing to it if you'd like)
When: appx Sept 24-30 (or, for sailing, anytime the 14-23)
What: VACATION. They've had a rough summer so it's time for some downtime. There are water parks, beaches, and an obligatory onsen, so mix and mingle with the super-happy (and young and pretty) locals and have some fun!
Warnings: not likely
Style: anything you want
Status: closed to Hazmat crew only unless another crew is on the island?
[Gan Ning promised his ragtag crew a party, and by god, they were going to have a party. It might have been worth it to hold on Isla Empieza, to mingle with other crews there, but there wasn't much going on there to stick around for. He heard from someone in the harbor about this island and decided it would make a great place for a party.
Somewhere along the way Raphael disappeared, sadly, but the rest of them continued on. They had already put off partying for too many reasons - a poor showing in the race, other crewmates disappearing, Cynthia's rescue from the clutches of giant spiders, and so on. No more. This time, they were just going to put down anchor, hang out on the beach, make some ice cream, and have a good time. Besides, with Tsuzuki joining the crew, they had to show him that they knew how to stick together, right?

Beached mermaid will make his day
[While walking a less populate portion of the beach, he found a sight he had only read about in books. There was a girl, lying on the sand. Red hair drying in the sun, and colorful scales glistening in the light... scales on the lower half of her body! Mermaid... Was that a mermaid?! Davy Jones, you have earned a point in his likable list for this one! He got to see a real mermaid!]
[Don't mind the guy gawking like a schoolboy at you Ariel. He's just having a mythology geek moment. He's even letting his snow cone melt...]

[When the crew hit islands, she tended to stay outside of them, in the ocean, playing around there, or resting on beaches to take in the sights. Mostly, so to stay out of the way.]
[So like now, beached and tanning a bit, she blinked and tilted her head back as some one came closer and spoke. Her head tilted, then she smiled, turning her body around to look at the other better.]

The pleasure is mine, Miss Ariel! I've read so many stories about merfolk back in my world, but for all the spirits and gods I've met over the years, I never met a mermaid or a merman. I can't tell you how excited I am to meet one at last. Is it true that you have one of the most beautiful voices a person can hear in their life time?
[Dude, mermaids are supposed to sing men to their deaths, but that doesn't really apply to you does it...?]

Just Ariel is fine, please. When I first got here, I had never met a human before, so I suppose there is a first time for everything!
[she giggled at the comment about singing, and smiled fondly. She loved to sing, for her or anyone, really.] I don't know if it's the most beautiful, but my father used to say I sing the best out of my sisters. Like my mother.

[Since he wasn't sure how long merfolk lived, Tsuzuki wasn't sure if Ariel was young for her kind or not. She seemed to hold a great deal of curiosity, much like a young adult in humans. He didn't want to assume though. This opportunity was too good to ruin with thoughts like that...]
