Topsy Turvey
Who: Hazmats with special guest star Aokiji
Where: at sea, a Navy base in the west-southwest, then Turvey Top
When: seagoing Oct. 1-15 with a stop of about a day on the 9th to raid a Navy base, then Turvey Top from the 15th onward (tbd by October plots)
What: they need a new ship. They're going to steal one from the Navy and then take it to Turvey Top to get it refitted/hide out for a while. And deal with curses, plots, and witches. Also picking up a lost and lonely Kuzan at some point.
Warnings: not likely but let me know
Style: anything you want
Status: closed to whoever's under "Who"
The vacation was nice, but for a few days of Cynthia not remembering some of her friends, but it became clear by the end of it that Raphael wasn't coming back, at least not in the immediate future. They had to accept it and continue on, now without any of their turtle-pals who had brought them together as a crew in the first place.
Size of ship was not quite an issue, but the Hazardous Materials had gone through so many changes lately that there really was only one way for it. Gan Ning felt they needed a fresh start, and what better way than by procuring a new ship? They could christen it with a new name, though he didn't mind still being referred to as Hazmats in homage to the turtles who built the crew and were their friends. Besides, that was what the bounty posters called them, no sense in confusing that. A few casual inquiries around Aquatica Paradise uncovered the presence of Navy bases on small islands in this part of the world. But of course, what with that rumor of the frigate passing through on the current soon...
They set course for the base to do some real piracy. After that, though, they would have to see what island would come up on the escape heading. They could hide out there to refit the ship, make it their own. Little did they know they had found an island with a witch who was rumored to bless or curse even visitors...

[There's not much they can do about the stubbornness, but the lack of knowledge and experience is at least something that can be worked on if Roxas will let people work with him on it.]
Whatever happened to asking a million questions? This making the pouty face and saying you'll do it all yourself isn't getting the job done quite as well, you know.
[He's never had a problem with answering Roxas' questions, but there's not much he can do if Roxas won't ask them.]
no subject
Okay. Um, Lea?
[Roxas fidgets a little bit.]
How do I go to the bathroom?
no subject
Um...make sure you sit down and you'll, um, probably figure it out on your own from there...
[It wasn't rocket science. He'd figured it out.]
no subject
[Now he's out of bed and disappearing out of the room to use the washroom. Fortunately, it isn't hard to figure out, it's just really weird.
He comes back after a few minutes, flushing a little.]
Right, um, okay so walking is kind of weird.
[His hips keep swinging.]
And everything fits kind of weird.
no subject
Yeah, fighting's gonna be weird, too. Your center of balance is different and, well, you know.
[He gestures vaguely at him. They kind of covered what new additions and subtractions there were to to this particular model of human body.]
no subject
What?! Really?
[He summons Oathkeeper and grunts in surprise. It feels a little heavy in his hand. Not unmanageable, but he's never really noticed before, just how big his keyblade is. He never gave it any thought.]
no subject
[Lea drags himself out of the hammock and walks over. He puts his hand on Roxas' head to check if he's gotten any shorter. It's kind of disappointing that he's no shorter than he usually is.]
You might wanna practice in case something comes up.
no subject
I can't fight like this right now....I have to...I have to fix it somehow.
no subject
You can, but...you know what? Never mind. You just figure out how to break the spell.
[This is lesson he can't dictate to Roxas, so it's up to him to learn it for himself. It ought to be interesting...]
no subject
Lea, my chest feels weird. Is it really okay?
no subject
I keep telling you it's okay! Girls have those!! Haven't you noticed that by now? I'd kinda hope you noticed when I was stuck in Selphie's body...
[Especially considering they'd ended up sleeping crammed into the same hammock. You'd have to notice then.]
no subject
[No such luck, he was clinging to him quite bodily. If Lea had wanted him to freak out, he's doing it now.]
What am I supposed to do with them?
no subject
[He refuses to complete that sentence on the grounds that it may incriminate him.]
I mean, that is...you don't really do anything with them, unless...um...well, I mean, they're yours so...
[Why is he having this conversation?]
no subject
Well yeah, I guess so, I mean I woke up and they were just there. I don't usually have something there though, so it's kind of heavy a little.
[He tugs on his hair a little.]
This is weird too...
no subject
[Pressed close like this, he can feel them better than he can see them. He steps back a little and (telling himself this is purely for demonstration purposes, cups one of Roxas' breasts and lifts it slightly.]
That's why girls wear bras, I guess, to keep them up so they aren't so heavy. You're, um, probably going to...need one of those...
no subject
I guess it's a little better when you do that, not as heavy. Still a little weird though. I don't know anything about that, what's that like? How does it work?
[His hair has always been wild, and he's not sure longer is helping with that. He isn't sure what he should do with it though.]
no subject
Work? It's just another piece of underwear, I guess. It's got straps over your shoulders so it can lift these things up.
[He takes the second one so he's holding them both. Lea: Human Bra. If he tried this with an actual girl, he'd be dead by now.]
Like that. I don't know, it took me three tries to get Selphie's on. I'm not any good at getting them off, either...
[Too much information, Lea.]
no subject
Kinda weird I guess. Maybe if the old lady turns me back into a boy I won't have to worry about that.
[He still has hope that there's a way out of being a girl.]
If not, I guess I do. How do I get one then?
[He isn't the least bit bothered by Lea grabbing his chest, at all.]
no subject
[He continues to fondle Roxas under the pretense of measuring cup size, except cup size is an arcane mystery no man shall ever master and he's starting to feel like a creep, so he reluctantly lets him go.]
I don't really know how it works. You'd probably have to ask a girl.
no subject
Like the girl that I scared that one time?
no subject
[He shakes his head. He's not in the mood for lectures this early in the morning.]
Yeah, you should talk to Cynthia about it. She's gotta know what the deal is.
no subject
I guess that makes sense, girls should know. But I'm still going to try and change back first.
[Being a girl is too weird for words.]
no subject
[Being a girl seems pretty expensive, now that he thinks about it.]
no subject
You got me up so early with this. You're not going to leave me here are you?
no subject
[Lea ruffles his hair. Okay, so he's a little distracting at the moment, but it's a good sort of distracting.]
Did you have plans or something?
