     "Uh...oh?" Yeah, that didn't sound good. "Well, it can't have gone far, right?" Lyrik looked up from folding another shirt, head tilting at Luffy.

[meatthefuture]

"I dunno. We better find it. Help me look." And he shook all the clothing in the trunk, peeked under the floppy hat, the clothes that Lyrik had folded and then went around crawling on all fours.

"Sanji's gonna be real mad if he finds you, bug. You'd better come out..."

     Lyrik looked around from where he sat, scratching his head. "Okay. Hmm...if I were a bug- Um. Where did you find this bug anyway, Luffy?" he asked as he got to his feet. Since Luffy was handling the low ground, he decided to see if maybe he could find this creepy crawly elsewhere around the room.

"Um near the beach on some twigs. But I bought them with me." He sits cross legged with the top of the hammock brushing over the floppy hat. "Maybe we should call him... But I didn't give him a name." That's a problem... "Do you think he'd answer to one I just made up?"

     "Uh..." The young dragon looked back over at Luffy. "...I don't know that it'd respond at all, really." He glanced around the cabin. "I wonder how long ago it's gotten out? Maybe it left the room."

[meatthefuture]

"Hmm yeah maybe." Well there's no help for it. The beetle will come out when it does and maybe Sanji will only be a little mad. Maybe he's just exploring the ship or found a way to fly home. Either way, Luffy's not gonna stop him if he got out of the jar on his own.


So that in mind, Luffy flops himself crossways across the hammock, pushing himself off the wall with his feet and regards Lyrik a moment.

"What do you like to do for fun?"

     Lyrik just hoped that it didn't surprise anyone too badly if they happened upon the bug.

     "Hm? Oh, well...baking, I guess!"

[meatthefuture]

"Baking ..." More pushing back and forth. "Do you like running around or telling stories or having adventures?" Because those a pretty big things with him right now. "You're not very good at bug hunting." Just saying.

     What! Despite the fact that it might be true, Lyrik still looked a bit offended at the assumption. He folded his arms, snorting lightly.

     "I'm not sure if I'm very good at telling stories. But I don't mind adventures, I guess."

[meatthefuture]

"Tell me one anyway." He wants to see for himself if this guy is no good or not. If he's not, that's' okay, Luffy guesses, but he not so secretly hopes he's at least a little good.

     "Eh?? What, right now?" Lyrik stared at Luffy a moment- it was difficult trying to figure out how this guy's mental processes worked. He scratched his head.

     "Stories, stories...um. Aaah...all I can think about is the one the dragonlings like so much, about Pupu the dolphin..."

"Yosh!" He sat up immediately, sitting cross-legged and loosely gripping his ankles as he watches Lyrik with full attention. Make it good.

     "Uuuh..." The dragon scratched his head as he looked at Luffy. Wow, he was serious about this!

     "Well...it begins in the clear blue waters of the sea, where a dolphin named Pupu lived. He loved to play and frolic in the waves, and he made many friends with the fish and other creatures of the sea."

     Hmm, now how did the rest of it go again? Lyrik had heard the story many times as a baby, and Tirk and Lati had come to love hearing it as well.
