Preparing to set sail by the weekend

Who: Maribelle, Kyouya, and all interested applicants for joining her crew (In other words, if you're part of her crew, or want to be part of her crew, get in here.)
When: Wedensday afternoon
Where: Restful Night Tavern common room.
What: Preparing to set sail, bring a small contribution to funding the voyage for your starting supplies and our ship.
Warnings: None that I know of
Open or Closed: Open to all (even pirates who wish to leer at them)

Things were relatively quiet in the tavern at the moment, as only a few tavern regulars were present, and Maribelle patiently sat at the head of the table with Kyouya seated at her right. "Are you quite certain that everyone has the date and time for this meeting correct? I would hate to find that we are lacking in members simply because of communication." Of course, Maribelle was the one who had made most of the arrangements for this meeting, and had nearly sprung it on her counterpart at the last moment. So she certainly wouldn't hold him at fault for a lack of arrivals.

She glanced up at the door to the tavern, seeing it open but not recognizing the person who came through the door. Could it be one of Kyouya's applicants? She was of course, immensely disappointed when the individual instead saddled up to the bar to sit with some of the other regulars. Patience was a virtue, but it was a virtue of which Maribelle might be slightly... lacking. "Perhaps I should go see if I can find a few of them mulling about... or... no I suppose I should be here in case any of them do decide to be punctual."

She's just going to... sip her tea... and try not to let an irritated twitch show at the corner of her mouth. (OOC: Make sure to also hit up this post as well.)

"Give it a few more minutes, Lady Maribelle." Kyouya closed the pocketwatch he'd purchased with some of his funds. "If they are idling around and need to be rounded up, please allow me to do that. It would hardly do to have our captain being put in such a position."

It was easy to say, and it was a task he was willing to take on. No different than finding errant members of the Host Club. The vice-president (or second-in-command here, whatever it was called) could take on those tasks so the person in charge -- be it Tamaki or Maribelle -- could know that all was taken care of and they could concentrate their efforts where it really mattered.

Kyouya nodded politely. The journal this place had been set aside for this matter, though he kept it close. There was no telling when it might come in handy. Instead he had a smaller book that had, so far, proven to be entirely non-magical. (He'd bought quite a few, actually, to last him awhile. And, well, now he was starting to get back into his long-practiced habit of spending most of his time jotting down notes in it.) What did he read? Well. He kept that to himself. Notes, reminders, names and dates. Anything of note.

"I'm sure they will be here. First meetings, especially in so large of groups, tend to be a little bit chaotic."

"Oh, I doubt it will be anything too hectic," Kyouya responded in his mild, even tone. He smiled a little. "At my school, I was the vice-president of a club." He'd mentioned that, as part of his credentials. "Our first meeting -- and there were only six of us -- had the difficulty of multiple years and personalities having to mesh together."

He expected similar difficulties here, especially since they had little in common except a prospective leader and being pulled into this situation suddenly.
