Preparing to set sail by the weekend

Who: Maribelle, Kyouya, and all interested applicants for joining her crew (In other words, if you're part of her crew, or want to be part of her crew, get in here.)
When: Wedensday afternoon
Where: Restful Night Tavern common room.
What: Preparing to set sail, bring a small contribution to funding the voyage for your starting supplies and our ship.
Warnings: None that I know of
Open or Closed: Open to all (even pirates who wish to leer at them)

Things were relatively quiet in the tavern at the moment, as only a few tavern regulars were present, and Maribelle patiently sat at the head of the table with Kyouya seated at her right. "Are you quite certain that everyone has the date and time for this meeting correct? I would hate to find that we are lacking in members simply because of communication." Of course, Maribelle was the one who had made most of the arrangements for this meeting, and had nearly sprung it on her counterpart at the last moment. So she certainly wouldn't hold him at fault for a lack of arrivals.

She glanced up at the door to the tavern, seeing it open but not recognizing the person who came through the door. Could it be one of Kyouya's applicants? She was of course, immensely disappointed when the individual instead saddled up to the bar to sit with some of the other regulars. Patience was a virtue, but it was a virtue of which Maribelle might be slightly... lacking. "Perhaps I should go see if I can find a few of them mulling about... or... no I suppose I should be here in case any of them do decide to be punctual."

She's just going to... sip her tea... and try not to let an irritated twitch show at the corner of her mouth. (OOC: Make sure to also hit up this post as well.)

Gray might not have been here, but there was no reason she couldn't try to be happy. She didn't want to act sad in front of her friends anyway, besides he was probably safe at home and her main love rival was here with her. So her concern wasn't nearly as high as it usually was.

She sounded relieved that she didn't come too terribly late and clapping both her hands together she gave Kyouya a firm nod. "Likewise, Mr. Kyouya. Juvia is glad she could be here."

Sort of. It wasn't like Fairy Tail, but the feeling was close enough. Juvia took the seat to Lucy's other side, letting her hands rest on her lap as she tilted her head at Maribelle's request. Were other mages here just like them? Hmmm.

"Juvia is a water mage, she did a lot of missions for the guild back on Earthland so she has a lot of experience in combat. But...Juvia is afraid she doesn't know how to sail a ship."
celestial_wizard: (Just ...sittin. Yup.)

"Same here I'm afraid. WHenever we were on a ship, we were the passengers, not the sailors." Lucy added, smiling sheepishly. Watching Juvia and listening to her own response, Lucy had to stifle a small chuckle. If Maribelle didn't know what a water mage would entail, how would she react to Lucy's own power, rare as it was? Well, maybe she had summoners where she was from.

Once Juvia had finished her explanation, Lucy address the group again, "As for myself, I'm a celestial spirit wizard. I can summon a number of spirits, that can help me in and out of battle."
