What: SORA IS DEAD, Riku is a vampire, basically this week has sucked. :|
Warnings: Depressed Riku, I guess -- trying to keep his mopey lame times contained in one place, haha.
Style: Whichever! But I'm probably sticking with [brackets].
Status: Closed to the crew, whoever is interested (if anyone, totally cool if you want to avoid Riku being pathetic everywhere lol).


[Riku is basically either holed up in his and Sora's room, staring blankly at nothing, or he's up in the crow's nest, watching the sea. He'll still do whatever duties he has around the ship, of course, but his brain is totally elsewhere and overall he's not going out of his way to talk to anyone really. Save maybe Kairi if she's around.

Also that whole bloodlust thing? Yeah. He's ignoring it. And ignoring the need to eat or drink anything at all, really. WHO NEEDS SUSTENANCE. 8D]

[alkjshfs WELL now his eyes just go wide and he lets out a startled bark of laughter.]

Oh my god. Yeah, well, sorry to disappoint, but believe it or not that was my first time. I'm just naturally skilled, I guess—

[Can't even finish the sentence, he just starts snickering again, covering his face with his hand.]

[Natsuno actually laughs too, because it's pretty funny.]

Oh I wasn't disappointed. I certainly hope your hunger was satisfied.

Ha, yep, satisfied. You were very satisfying.

[Pats his stomach, then suddenly makes a face like it's only just really sinking in what he did.]

...Ugh, I drank your blood. And I liked it. Gross. That's gonna take some getting used to.

[Natsuno pushes off the rail and lies back, his head on the hood of his jacket.]

I really wouldn't think about it. I'm hoping we can find a solution for this...for you guys. It's not like you've gone through the process. It's strange.

Strange is an understatement.

[He doesn't comment on finding a solution, not really sure how there could be one. Instead, he tilts his head to look at Natsuno.]

What about you, how's this whole... [Flaps a hand in his direction.] Wolf thing?

Aside from the fur, which I could really do without. It just highlights my somewhat strange natural hair colour, the rest of it is a lot like being a vampire that just ate.

[He sighs.]

My fur is itchy.

[Laughs lightly.]

Maybe you have fleas.

[JOKING.]

So what's worse, vampire hunger or itchy werewolf fur?

I'd be glad to share them with you if you like.

[Well he could manage another small smile.]

Vampire hunger. Itchy werewolf fur is annoying, but not painful.

Uh, pass. Haven't ever had fleas before and I don't think I need any other 'first time' experiences today. Tonight. ...Whatever the hell time of day it is.

[Matches the smile, though Riku's has a slightly wry edge to it.]

Guess you got lucky, then.

I suppose you could call it luck, sure.

[He stares upwards.]

I don't think it's fleas anyway. It's just...different. It's harder to talk, like talking with my fangs out.

[Rolls his eyes.]

Obviously it's not fleas, I'm just messing with you.

[Absently runs his tongue over his own teeth.]

I can see how having to talk like that all the time would be annoying, though.

At least my fangs aren't out all the time. I have to will them out.

[He pauses and adds as an afterthought.]

Or be really hungry.

I didn't even know there were different types of vampires before all this...

[Sits up abruptly.]

Could you turn into a bat before?

[reluctantjinrou]

[He shakes his head.]

I don't think so. Some myths are just that, however, even at home there are different types of vampires. You notice I wander around in the sunlight. Most of them can't do that. I'm sort of a special case. Tatsumi said there are only four of us.

Tatsumi had a lot of skills I don't have, but then again, he drank blood voluntarily, probably however often he felt like it.

[SUDDENLY.

Have a bat flapping around.]

[Well isn't that interesting. Natsuno is pretty much just going to stare. Rudely.]

[Flies up close to his face.]

Weird, right??

[His voice might be a little...squeakier...than usual.]

...I don't think I like bats.

[Natsuno is honestly a little creeped out.]

I can't do that. Even as a vampire.

[darknessinside]

Not a huge fan either, but being one is...interesting.

[Backs off and flies around the crow's nest for a bit.]

The flying is kind of awesome.

[He watches him, almost lazily.]

I suppose. I think in theory I should be able to hover or float for short distances. I've never tried though.

Why wouldn't you try that??

[Concentrates again and then as quickly as the bat showed up, it disappears, leaving Riku as he normally is in it's place. He drops down so he's sitting cross-legged, an elbow resting on his knee and his chin propped in his hand.]

Sora can glide around, and even fly in a certain world. I've always been jealous of that.

[Abrupt pause, then Riku gives a slow wince.]

Except, you know. Past tense.

[Natsuno nods a little.]

Well you were just floating. I don't know...I think I could be able to do it, but I don't have that much power. I probably don't drink enough. It's why I get weaker.

See, this is why you should've fed more regularly. Although I guess it's a moot point now. ...Okay, no, it's easy to say that but I can't really see myself going around biting people any more than absolutely necessary. So never mind.

I suppose...but doing something I guess would mean accepting what I've become. I don't want to be a vampire. Nobody asked me. They just made all these assumptions, like always. Tatsumi was pretty mad I didn't want to join his little group.
