[Lea puts his hands on Roxas' shoulders and leans down.]

Roxas, this is your party. You go do whatever you want to do and no one can tell you you can't.

[He pats his shoulders once before letting him go.]

Just make sure there's some cake left for me.

[This is what Ikki was talking about, living life how he wants. He doesn't know a lot about that, but there's one thing he does know. He grabs onto Lea's arm, hugging it to his chest.]

Yeah, well I want to be with you! So come and eat with me!

[Lea laughs.]

Who am I to say no to the birthday boy, huh?

[When he hadn't had a heart, it was this that had made him feel almost whole again. No matter how he felt about himself or what he had to do, there was always Roxas with that big smile of his looking at him as if the sun rose and set on his shoulders. Seeing it with an actual heart in his chest...

Well, it doesn't make him want to rush to get home.]

[Roxas is happy to tug him off to the snack table to look at the other options, aside from cake. Oh there will be cake, but first there's some other party food to try. All kinds of different snacks that Pinkie has made happen out of thin air. He lets go of Lea long enough to get a plate and start filling it with a bit of everything.]

*Selphie nods as though this is gospel, even though she only has Grell as her voice of authority*

I don't know, but my feet are starting to hurt now so I really hope it'll work! These aren't my own pair either - maybe we shouls go shopping to buy some!

[Lea just watches him (and occasionally steals things off his plate). He's not sure what else the crazy little pink monster has planned, so it's probably a good idea to fortify himself first.]

Don't forget to go say hi to other people, too. You're the guest of honor, after all. Everybody's here to see you.

They are? All the pony said was that I get cake. Ice cream cake!

[Because isn't that just the best thing ever Lea? How could you hide such a thing!]

It's not like it's just some thing where we decorate everything and you eat cake. It's so people can spend time with you and give you presents and stuff like that.

[He frowns.]

If I'd known we were doing this, I woulda got you something.

Presents? Really? Again?

[It's like his voice raised an entire pitch with excitement.]

But I get other presents? Like what? What do you think I'll get?

We should! We definitely should! It seems like they sell just about everything here, so they must have shoes like that!

[She's still not sure she can walk in them, but now she has to at least try.]

I wonder if they're expensive...

How am I supposed to know? I don't even know who ended up getting invited. Pinkie's over there talking to some girl I've never seen before, so maybe she's just dragging people in off the street or something.

I see. [Celestia looks down, apparently entirely willing to appraise Selphie's success, but after some consideration, simply laughs.] Taller, yes, but I'm afraid I don't know what human standards of leg quality are.

[Lea steals another cookie off Roxas' plate, shoves it in his mouth, then continues to talk around it as he chews.]

My birthday's in a few months, so you better throw me a party.

Hmm - yeah. I guess they're maybe not as strong as pony legs... *She giggles at the thought and trots on her feet* That would be so weird! If I had horse legs instead! I dunno how much anyone would like that or not...

[On one hand Ikki seriously wants a piece of whoever thought it was a great idea to decorate so extensively the ships, that way it seems as if there's literally no place to escape from it. On the other hand, this is apparently for Roxas and while he thinks that the kid doesn't need a birthday party... It's probably a start.

When he finds Roxas he's going to hand him a large box with a train set he got at the island. Even if technically the protective gear he got him the other day should count as a present.]

Happy birthday, Roxas. You work fast.

*Now this is the kind of party Selphie can really get behind. Someone clearly knows how to decorate properly, and how to really throw a party. Yup, Selphie gives everything an appraising look.

Usually, Selphie would be straight in there and having fun, but this time Selphie just gives everything a small smile and a tight nod, eyeing the strings of the balloons for a long while, touching them gently. She smirks, almost laughing out loud, sharing a secret to herself*

They must! I want a shiny red pair! And a pink pair! And yellow too!

*Selphie giggles with the excitement at the thought of the shoes - seriously, what is sailing with all those men doing to her brain*

Oh... I hope not too expensive. I spent pretty much all my money on Christmas gifts...

*There's a rather large present next to all the others. It's wrapped up with a huge yellow bow and a tag that says - Happy Birthday! Love from Selphie (The Girl With The Brown Hair) xxx

When he opens it up, he'll have his very own large plush bird - only this one is a bright red parrot. Selphie will be lurking somewhere nearby, too*

[Oooh, a present. Roxas takes the box from him with a big grin, but he puts it with the others because no one said he could have them yet and he doesn't really know if he's supposed to.]

*She giggles and throws him a wink, posing again on her heels*
