[his good eye narrows. The trouble is, aside from those nasty comments, Sanji's logic holds water. Zoro isn't sure what to do, but he does know that he won't tolerate shitty behavior]

Yeah, your attitude is a problem. I won't have you saying that kind of bullshit in front of Luffy, or telling him his brother's dead. He may be the captain, but he's not the only member of the crew available to notice things.

Look. Things are weird enough right now, we can't be at each other's throats. This is the time when a crew needs to band together. Either you're in, or you're out.

[Flicks the remains of his cigarette overboard, then pushes off the railing.]

Speaking of which. [Pleasant grin.] I think I'll get started on dinner. Hell, maybe that'll drag Luffy back.

[temporarily placated. But he's still suspicious. He's going to keep an eye on the cook from now on. Zoro sighs and folds his arms over his chest again]

Go easy on the salt this time.

[Taps his chin.]

I thought it wasn't supposed to have any taste at all, but I might've picked up the wrong shit.

[He waits a beat, and then—]

Kidding. Before you go and get your haramaki all in a twist again.

[not to give Sanji any compliments, but his sense of humor is usually better than this]

[Had ambled past him, so when Zoro rounds on him he turns to face him and walks backwards for a step or two until there's a sizable distance between them.]

Feeding your doubts. [Points.] You think there's something wrong with me, but I'm not the one you should be watching. I'm telling you, Ace's crew is teetering on the edge of going batshit and Luffy hanging around is a bad idea for everyone.

[Shoves his hands in his pockets, and turns back around to continue on his way.]

And don't fucking insult my food.

[he's aware of the problems with the Spades, but he's not entirely convinced. Why? Maybe deep down he trusts Sanji more dearly than he would ever admit. So he just glares and huffs]
