What: Crew shenanigans, both light-hearted and serious, while the rest of the ships prepare for and do battle with the witch.

The Antoinette is a strange ship to be on. The (wise) decision was made not to go into battle, so it has been offered as a safe haven for those unable or unwilling to join the fight against the witch.

The air of light-heartedness found might, at times, feel forced, and it is a bit. The residents have only their morale to keep them going, so that's what they rely upon.


(Please feel free to either reply to the subject headers provided or make your own! This is just a general mingle log for anyone on the Antoinette. If your character is a non-combatant who wouldn't want to go into the fight or someone injured and unable to join the fight, Kyouya has publicly offered passage, so feel free to handwave being there.

Yeah! He can unlock doors without needing a key and do other fun spells!

[She can sit next to the excited kid. Let him tell her all about his friend.]

I've never seen anything like that before. [She does indeed sit beside him, looking caught between disbelief and wonder.] I think I would like to.

He uses a wand to cast spells and says funny words like 'alohamora'.

[He is mispronouncing that, but he doesn't realize it because Draco has that funny accent.]

And things happen! Sometimes he doesn't even have to say words. He just swishes his wand and Boof! Something happens!

Aloha…mora? [Like what they say in Hawaii?] What does that spell do? [Greet people?]

You said his name is Draco? What does he look like?

He's tall, really tall! And skinny and he's got almost white hair and he almost always holds his shoulders back. Sometimes he's a little stiff, but I think he's used to standing a lot. And he's really nice and smiles a lot. I can draw a picture for you!

Ah! Alohamora opens locked doors!

That's okay. [She wonders if he looks a bit like Tamaki. Or Nekozawa.] I just wondered if I would know him if I saw him.

[…oh.] Any locked door? [That could be dangerous.]

I'll introduce you when we're all on Isla Empieza sometime. And yeah, I think it works on any locked door. It worked on the one I was locked behind.

…thank you. [Her curiosity is overwhelming the part of her brain that says wizards are probably dangerous.] Why were you locked behind a door?

[And the smile is instantly wiped from his face as he looks down at his lap.]

I wanted to go meet the witch lady on Isla Empieza and the Captain decided I should be locked up for a while so I couldn't try to use the Nav to leave without them knowing while Mister Itachi was still acting strange. It was the right decision. I was wrong about the witch lady. I just really wanted to go home and she said she would send us home.
