[Lea whips around and uses his hold on Roxas' wrists to shove him back into the water, then hightails it for the beach.]

Ha ha, I win!

[His caring best friend just dumped him face first in the water, in the shallow end. He sputters a bit as he sits up, a bit mud on his chest. He spits out water.]

Jerk!

[Lea climbs up on top of a piece of driftwood, plants his hands on his hips and grins. For the first time in a long time, he looks as young as the older members of the crew treat him like he is. He can't remember the last time he just played around like this. Definitely not since he lost his heart.]

Cheater!

[Well if Lea wants to play dirty, they can. Roxas gets to his feet and throws a friendly ball of mud at Lea, before giving chase again.]

[Lea hops off the driftwood a runs down the beach. Mud? Big deal! Gotta catch him if you want to try that again.]

Can't cheat if there aren't rules!

[Roxas takes after him as fast as his legs can take him, but Lea is taller and it's going to be hard to catch up.]

[Can't deny it.

Lea picks up speed, not that he has any idea where he's going. Maybe a sharp turn to the right and up towards the forest. Maybe he'll climb a tree or something.]

[Just you wait Lea, until Roxas gets ahold of you. He runs as hard as he can and makes a grab for his arm, intending to grab onto it tightly.]

[The tug and added weight on his arm combined with wet feet on soft grass just past the sand line sends Lea toppling over onto the ground.]

[Roxas crows gleefully, moving to sit on him because he's not going to let Lea escape if he can help it.]

Okay, fine. Ya got me.

[Lea stretches out flat on the ground and pouts a little.]

[Roxas laughs gleefully.]

Now what to do with you...you did drop me face first in the water after all.

[He stares at him, thinking.]

[Lea scowls up at him.]

Look at you all full of yourself. I could get up if I wanted.

You could not! I might not be that heavy, but I'm pretty strong.

[He smirks a little.]

[Lea reaches up and tickles Roxas' sides.]

How's that for trying? Huh? Huh?

[Oh dear. That's a move he's not expecting and laughter bubbles up from seemingly nowhere. He squirms around and bats at Lea's hands.]

Ack! Quit it! Stop that!

Nope! Not gonna!

[Lea attempts to shove him off, since he's got him distracted.]

[He shrieks a little, trying to avoid it.]

No no no no no!

[Roxas squeals between giggles as his back hits the sand as Lea succeeds in pushing him off.]

[Lea tickles him one last time for good measure before rolling to his feet.]

Ha ha you lose!

That was cheating!

[Roxas just flopped flat, breathing hard.]

[Lea grins and leans down over him, just to gloat.]

Can't cheat if there aren't rules! I already told you that.

Jerk. There are rules, and you break them all the time!

[He rolls over a bit awkwardly, trying to swat at Lea's leg. He was getting covered in sand.]

The rule is that I get to win, obviously!

[Lea hops back to avoid him.]

Nope! No rules! Especially not that one. I mean, I won already, so that's not gonna work.

[Roxas huffs softly. Finally he gets up onto his feet, ruffling the sand out of his hair.]

Fine, the next game we need rules!
