Have fun! I'm gonna put up threads for the food'n'fight group and shard findin' group. We do have a map which Robin possesses. You can drop in on either or stay on the ship and guard it or just have fun on Malihini! You know, whatever. :)

[he must have slept enough, because now Zoro finds it hard to stay asleep for long. He rolls over and blinks his eye open to find Luffy in his line of sight. For a moment, he just looks him over to be sure that he made it out of there all right, and then huffs a sigh]

What're you doing?

Oh, Zoro! You're awake! Yosh.

[awesome! He clears off the drawings and sets the sake barrel on the bed, narrowly missing Zoro's face.

For himself he situates himself cross-legged on the floor]

I was drawing you.

[if Zoro looked like a wiggly blob with mold on it]

[he rolls over just in time - geez, Luffy. Squints]

...that's supposed to be me? You suck at drawing, Luffy.

[but he's happy to see the effort, and the smile on his captain's face. All is well, then.]

You're hard to draw. Your face is really weird.

[tries again but gets distracted part way through and starts drawing crab legs]

Are you gonna come to Marco's mystery thing?

Marco's what?

[oh, right, Marco was there for a reason]

Nah. I'm gonna sleep.

[and not tell Luffy how much his shoulder aches]

Mm okay. [he's only a little disappointed but that's fine.] There's sake for when you wake up.

[he hums a little and gives the Zocrab a grumpy face]

We got a shard, but it doesn't look very interesting. Robin says it's gonna take deckhades to find all of them. [draw draw] How long is that?

[Oh, sake? He's awake! Really! He struggles to sit up, just a little bit.]

Decades. That's...tens of years. She really thinks it's going to take that long?

Hnnn that's a really long time. [sighs and plops beside Zoro on the bed, pushing him up with one hand around his back and popping the cork of the barrel for him]

I guess so. I wanna find 'em quicker than that. This is a pain.

[he silently nods his appreciation for the help, and then palms the barrel in order to tip it back for a sip]

We need to find them quicker. If we're here half our lives, someone else is going to find the One Piece before you do.

[he hadn't really considered that. If someone took the One Piece for him he'd have to wait until they hid it again to find it and who knew how long that would take.]

Well it'll work out somehow. Other than that this place is pretty fun. [he flexes his toes and grins at the thought]

I wonder if we're going to get more weird candy.

[SIDE-EYEING YOU SO HARD LUFFY.

Okay squinting. But really.]

You and candy. I swear. Candy's been nothing but trouble for us.

I want to find some stronger guys to fight. I mean, really fight. The other day...

[it was weird. Unpleasant. Unnecessarily dangerous and not in the fun way. It didn't count, as far as Zoro's concerned]

haha I dunno that worked out pretty good I think! It made Sanji wanna get kissy. Shishishi

[grins and whacks Zoro's shoulder lightly]

Okay, we'll find a really good fight somewhere. That one was really dumb. But did you see that, Zoro? Na? Did you? I did the thing!

[hisses, because OW GODDAMMIT. Watch the shoulder! So, so not even talking about kissing. Nope. Focusing on the fighting instead. Yep.]

Ah...yeah, you did. That was pretty damn good, Luffy. Keep it up, next time you'll knock 'em all out.

Yeah but I gotta get really mad first to do it. But that doesn't work cuz then everyone gets hurt before I get mad and I can't make myself mad.

Zoro shifts a bit more, leaning against Luffy so he can make himself comfortable and enjoy his sake. Bepo can kill him later for it.]

That's where you gotta train, then. Figuring out how to do it without having to get mad first. But, unlike the observation kind, I don't think I can teach you that.

[Conqueror's...it's a bit beyond even him. As far as anyone knows.]

It's hard to train without big fights. [he can and has learned a bit on his own but he can't really test it out and improve on it unless he really means it]

I wanna go to really dangerous places. But it'll be bad with Keimi and Pinkie and Celestia...maybe Elsa, too.

[since he wasn't sure if they wanted to do that kind of thing.]

Maybe we can go by ourselves for a bit...

[he doesn't want to do that either...but he's pretty sure that Sanji can take care of things here. He wasn't really sure what was more important right now. It was hard to say]

Yeah, I know. I feel the same way. [he can't even be sure where he stands, strength-wise, compared either to his crew or their potential foes]

...don't underestimate the girls, though. Elsa's got a good head on her shoulders. She could be pretty strong in the right fight. [And he knows Celestia is powerful. Pinkie, he likes. Keimi? She's important in her own way even if he doesn't know what it is just yet.] Though, after that brat was ranting about us getting them in trouble, it might be a good time to make sure the others are okay.

I know they can do it. [he never doubted them] But it's different. We normally just sail around and find stuff.

[and usually it got dangerous but they'd all chosen that kind of thing]

Going into danger just to train is different.

[and probably boring. He didn't really want to do it if it was boring, that was why he wanted Zoro to come with him-- But maybe he kind of had to]


It's troublesome. I just wanna eat a lot of meat and get stronger that way.

[he knows that won't work but he still wants it]

[he turns his head just enough to contemplate Luffy for a moment, and then moves his less-injured arm to hang around his captain's neck]

If only. But, you know...we don't even know if there's a place to train like that. Do you really want to leave some of the crew behind to search for one?

[their faith in Luffy was what allowed the crew to have their two years. He, Robin, Brook, Sanji...they would understand. But the others?]

We don't have to leave anyone behind. I don't think things here are the same as they were back home - we don't have to do the same thing twice.
