Have fun! I'm gonna put up threads for the food'n'fight group and shard findin' group. We do have a map which Robin possesses. You can drop in on either or stay on the ship and guard it or just have fun on Malihini! You know, whatever. :)

[Rolls his eyes.]

[he thinks for a moment]

[There's a beat, then Sanji somewhat reluctantly cracks a small grin.]

Meat. Alright. Lucky for you, I got some cooked already. Gimme a minute.

[Pushes himself out of the chair and disappears through to the galley.]

[his eye follows, though he stays in position to rest. He can definitely tell he's weak, either from the aftereffects of the drug or loss of blood, maybe both. As much as he wants to get up and prove he isn't, it would be the height of stupidity right now, so he reluctantly sags into the bed and waits.]

[Returns after a couple of minutes with a big ol' plate of beef tips and rice. He grins again when he spots Zoro, and even chuckles a little.]

Don't need to look so sad, marimo-kun, I'm sure you weren't the first green-haired moron they managed to fool.

[damn, he noticed. Zoro tries to erase his pout as he pushes himself up enough to be able to take the plate. God, he's hungry.]

Shut up about it already. Just...ow. Gimme the food.

[Holds the plate just out of Zoro's reach because he's kind of a jackass.]

I know you got some manners buried somewhere under that thick skull of yours.

[he breathes a long sigh and grumbles under his breath]

[Smirks, but he does hand the plate over as he takes a seat on the edge of Zoro's bed. Then he leans around to get a look at his shoulder.]

Should probably get Bepo to come take another look at you if you're still wincing like that.

It can wait. [and then belatedly adds, in a quieter tone: ] Thanks.

[he eats quite a bit before saying anything else, but the cook is close, nice and close now. He can't not talk to him.]

How long've you been sitting there?

[Doesn't say anything, just kind of shrugs off the gratitude, but the faint smile on his face betrays the fact that he appreciates it.

At Zoro's question, he squints a little, humming under his breath.]

Mmm...not long. Since dinner. Maybe an hour?

[...You know. This time. Not including earlier when he checked in throughout the day.]

[he snorts and even smirks a little, around bites] Worried, cook?

No.

[Huffs, though his gaze skitters away for a moment.]

I think you're too fuckin' stubborn to kick it in some shitty way like this. [Then he glances back at Zoro out of the corner of his eye.] This ain't even the worst state I've seen you in.

[Oh. Right. That. Zoro tenses for a moment, not expecting those memories to surface like that. That was a long time ago, but he'll never forget.]

It's not going to be like that. Ever again.

[serving_love]

[Just gives him a look like: you're seriously going to say that when you're fucking bedridden because of some shitty poison or drugs or whatever the hell?]

[eyes him right back]

[Turns away, staring across at the opposite wall with narrowed eyes.]

[having a heart attack over such a little thing? Aww, cook. Zoro tries to hide a little smirk as he bends his head over his plate and concentrates on eating for a while. He's plowing through his meal, he's that hungry.]

I just get tired of seeing you in bandages.

[Glances back at him, briefly eyeing him up and down.]

Not that it's a bad look, I guess. Shitty mummy.

[he lowers the empty plate into his lap and fixes his gaze on the cook, only mildly annoyed by the complaint]

This is the first I've taken a hit since we got back together.

[To both things. He slouches over, resting one arm on his knee, his other hand rubbing the back of his neck as he makes a slight face.

Really, this time wasn't any worse than...that other time, and not that Sanji hadn't been worried about Zoro then -- there had been so much blood -- but this feels different. In an unsettling way. He cares on a different level, or something, whatever it is he's not sure he likes it.]

Just shut up and let me bitch about you being an idiot for a minute, geez.

[Sighs. Deep, tired, put-upon sigh.]

Fine. You get one minute.

[It doesn't bother him so much, because he already rues his own mistakes, so anything Sanji complains about won't affect him. Much. It's over, it's past, so as far as Zoro is concerned, what really matters is not letting it happen again. At least this time, his mistake didn't cost the crew anything. Next time, it could be far worse.]
