Marco quickly set up a couple of kegs at the ready for the drinking party. Because it was just plain necessary, and a lot like old times. The last two weeks were still weighing on Marco's mind. War, Peace, phoenixes. Was it a good idea to really enjoy war so much? Was it a bad one? Maybe it was inevitable, so he might as well enjoy it. Like life, right? Or should he not encourage it just because it was amusing?

It was too much of a headache, that's why he was just going to drink.

He also set up some non-alcoholic drinks for Leanne and everyone else. Green tea, fruit juices, but they were all clearly marked.

Marco gave a quick piercing whistle. "OI SPADES! Roll call and drinking games!"

And maybe drunk board games, he would blame that on Ace though.

That was cheating, Marco. But she had to take a drink...or more like a sip. She was still getting use to the taste.

She furrowed a brow afterwards, like she was thinking. "I've never turned into a bird before?"

Hah...Asami was starting to think you had to cheat at this game.

"We have about three on the crew, don't we? Or was it more?" Too many people with super powers, she was starting to lose count.

She knew about Leanne and Naesala already, and Marco, of course. But was unaware about Ikki...even despite his name, probably because he didn't have any visible wings and it wasn't something that ever came up in their conversations. Still, she laughed lightly at that. "...If I didn't know better, I'd say we were purposefully trying to gather all those types up."

Or something, which might have been true. Oh. Well she had done that, so another small sip for her. "Um. I've never smoked before."

Asami took her next drink. If this kept up, she wouldn't be surprised if she got a light buzz. Was this really suppose to be a game? "Ikki too?" Well considering his phoenix title, yeah...that made sense, so scratch that question. She nodded. "I don't know a lot about your world, besides what I've been told, but it sounds really interesting. I'm guessing there are a lot of different kind of human like people there?"

Was the best way she could put it, she supposed. Asami paused and quickly added (because they were still playing). "I've never used a crossbow."

Yes Marco, you make even her world look normal. Not that she thought it was ever abnormal in the first place, but talking animals and starfish that weren't spirits? That caught her off guard. "And you all just live together with no problems?" She thought of the whole Spirit World fiasco back home when she said that.

"Right. I should have remembered." She paused to think. "How about, I've never dyed my hair?"

"I'm so sorry to hear that." Asami didn't know his world well enough to make any kind well thought out statement about the situation, but the least she could do was offer some kind of consolation, as moot as it seemed at this point. All she knew was that it sounded terrible.

She frowned and laid her mug on the table, allowing herself to rest her arms on the surface and leaned forward a little. Marco's last part did add comfort to her and it did help bring to light as to why he felt so attached to the crew and why he respected Ace so much. Not that she didn't, even if she thought he was kind of crazy at times.

There was a long silent pause of her part before she spoke up again. "But I can see why you like the crew so much now and why you'd do anything for them. Why all of you would. It might not be the same thing, but we ran into similar stuff back home."

"I don't mind." Asami paused to contemplate to herself, trying to figure out the best way to summarize the the whole thing, since it was sort of a long story. Then decided to state it as simple as possible. "We had a lot of unnecessary discrimination between benders and non-benders in our world and it eventually led to a war and revolution."

She was about the finish, then something else popped into her head. "The spirits and humans live separately too, I think it's because of similar reasons."
