[Nami had had to deal with many strange things since becoming a Straw Hat. Many, many strange things. They were unavoidable at this point/

But members of the crew being turned into children? That hasn't quite topped being brought into this new world, but it was definitely up there in terms of bizarre. She herself was still her age, which she was grateful for.

So she's doing one of two things right now. She's either trying to keep the children under control, or she is taking a break and lounging around deck. Either way, whether a child or not, feel free to approach her.]

[Elsa comes rushing to the deck, the scare of being somewhere she doesn't know and all already past. Since there's nothing she can do to go back home, she may as well enjoy her time here, right? So she comes to the deck determined to play there, but upon spotting an adult the child stops.

Well, if an adult is there it would be bad to just start playing there, Elsa knows that from experience. So she approaches Nami first.]

Excuse me, miss, may I play here?

[At some point later...]

[Beary (because that was what Luffy named him) came padding out onto the deck, so very tired. He'd been playing hard all this time, and he was HUNGRY, and he was TIRED, and his fur was clean now from the flour and sugar, and hi. There is someone lounging over there.]

[Lounging means rest! means comfy spots.]

[He came over, and moved to sit beside her lounge chair, and rested his paws on the side, peeking at her, before asking a soft questioning Wah? Maybe he sleep here as well? He looks tired.]

[Hi, Bepo wants to cuddle.]

[sometime after Sanji finds him in the men's cabin and feeds him breakfast, Usopp ventures out onto the deck. somehow, spending some time with the funny-eyebrow'd cook left him feeling more reassured about suddenly ending up on this unfamiliar ship with people he doesn't know. so when he sees the lady with the bright hair, he goes right up to her]

[just like with Sanji, he's sure he's never seen her before, but she still feels a little familiar to him. he waves, looking a little bit shy, but still eager to talk to her]

Hi! Are you a pirate lady?

[Please pay no attention to the bitty mermaid trying to squeeze between the bars on the deck's railing. Freedom is so close!]

[he'd passed out just before midnight, collapsing in his hammock still damp from the rain he endured while on evening watch, so it shouldn't be a surprise that Zoro slept in late. Which means there might have been plenty of people awake to hear his scream of horror when he woke up to discover himself shrunken down to his ten-year-old self.

First, of course, he fell out of the hammock. Then, naturally, he went tearing across the deck looking for some kind of explanation. After that, well...

For the first day it's likely he will do his best to try to suck it up and deal while taking care of the ones who don't remember their adult lives. After that, though, as the day goes on, Zoro begins to succumb to his size, his memories intact but his attitude growing more and more like the loudmouthed brat he was at that age. Maturity seems to vanish by the hour.

Good luck keeping him away from either his swords or the liquor cabinet.]

[Okay, THE SCREAM is not something Sanji is expecting to hear this morning, and it damn near startles him into dropping the pan he's using to flip some pancakes. He quickly catches himself and sets it down, turning the stove top off as he turns to stare at the galley door in confusion.

1) wtf?

2) That didn't sound like any of the ladies, but...it definitely wasn't any of the guys, so...?

3) wtf? Did they pick up a stowaway or some shit? ...Fuck, if there's some kid hiding on board, that hits a little close to home.

In the next second, Sanji's rushing out of the galley and probably nearly bowling straight over Zoro as he comes tearing out of the men's cabin.]

[At some point later in the day, or was it the next day? Bepo escaped the rubby boy, sneaking away and rolling on the deck. He was being silent right now, playing by himself. Tugging at a foot, rolling, and--Oh, there was someone...]

[He silently padded after the green haired kid. Where was he going? Coming up behind the kid he let out a soft Wah sound, alsmot questioning, looking up at the guy. Head tilted, wah?]

[With all the kids around, Nami was doing her best to keep track of them all. Which meant going around and making sure that none of them had done anything that could get themselves hurt.

She spotted the now de-aged Zoro. It was... weird to see him as a kid since she was still getting used to seeing his future self and not the Zoro that she knew. Still, she went over to go check on him. Or at least check his memory.]

Hey there Zoro. Do you remember who I am?

[Elsa's running around lower deck, trying to find a way out of there and leaving a trail of ice and frost wherever she goes in her current panic state. She heard the scream but didn't take it well, she's not sure where it came from or why it happened. Maybe it was another kidnapped child. Maybe it was one of the pirates that kidnapped her and who just discovered her out of the room she was in. Maybe it was a kidnapped child being tortured.

She comes bumping into Zoro and screams in initial terror until she realizes that it's another child. Still she keeps her hands raised and in front of her, ready to bury him with snow if she has to.]

W-Who are you?! Are you with the pirates?!

afternoon 5/15

[so, Usopp's just exploring around the ship when he spies another kid. with green hair. wow.]

[in a moment, he's heading over. once he gets close enough, he can see the other kid looks maybe a little bit older and kind of serious, but he doesn't look threatening enough to deter Usopp] Hi!

5/15-5/18 OTA

[Hit him up for whatever on any date, but by midday on the 15th Sanji is already about to pull all his damn hair out, okay, he likes kids well enough but he never signed up to play babysitter.

So he's gonna march out to the center of the deck, find a box to stand on, and then shout at the top of his lungs to get everyone under control.]

[he falls out of the hammock at the voice, hitting the floor face first. Then rubbing his eye, and his stomach grumbling, pads toward the sound of the noise]

5/15 - onward - Bitty Bear!

[Bepo was asleep at the time in the medical space on the ship. He'd fallen asleep on a book on a desk... meaning when it all happened and he shrunk, he dropped, hitting his bitty head on the desk, slipping from the chair and hitting the floor.]

[Have the cutest little polar bear, in a PUDDLE of orange suit, CRYING, in a very bear like cry. Squeaky and upset and not knowing what to do.]

[He's pawing on all fours across the floor in the medical ward, trying to get untangled from clothing and leave. Little bear is confused]

[the morning of the 15th, Usopp wakes and instantly can tell something's wrong. this isn't his bed; it's a gently swaying hammock in an unfamiliar room. he pulls the covers up to his nose and squeezes his eyes shut. he counts to three...then to ten, just for good measure, and opens them. and he's still in a weird room]

[there's only one thing to do in such a situation]

M-Mom! MOOOMMM!

[Being the best foalsitter in Ponyville, Pinkie is not at all unfamiliar with younger fillies and colts! Sure, they were humans, but that's where the differences stopped. So Pinkie has set up some barrels and a sign that says "FREE PUPPET SHOW" hanging from one of them. Whenever the audience gathers, she'll start the show!]

[he watches in the Luffy way, sometimes sitting, sometimes rolling, sometimes laughing, sometimes running back and forth across the deck-- but right now he's found some crayons of some sort and he's drawing pictures on the deck as he listens]

[Celestia is the most infinitely patient and wise babysitter, who is spending her increasingly harried time getting kids out of mischief and trouble. So either she's flapping about the ship trying to solve another crisis, or she's sprawled on the deck napping. Pretty much one or the other.]

[Someone needs to remind her to EAT.]

[The strange, beautiful alicorn immediately caught bitty Robin's attention, but, shy as she is, Robin stayed hidden. She doesn't know anybody on this ship and they'll probably be mad at her for sneaking aboard. Sure, there are lots of other children and that probably explains why she chose to stow away on this ship, but that doesn't mean that people won't treat her different. She has a bounty, after all. The destruction of an entire nation lumped on her shoulders to carry around so the adults responsible wouldn't have to pay the price.

But the talking, flying alicorn has been treating the others with patience, even kindness, and the hope that some of that might be spared for Robin is more than enough motivation to find a way closer.

When it's safe.

So while Celestia naps, Robin sneaks up, a filched book held tight in her arms, and crawls under one of Celestia's wings. She curls up there, smiling at the warmth, and quietly begins to read until the mare wakes up.]

5/15 BITTY PICS ARE HARD TO FIND

[While wandering the ship gathering children, one may have stumbled across a pile of clothes having once belonged to a certain mermaid. These clothes are precariously close to one of the deck's railings.

You may also notice a green head of hair sticking out of the sea. Staring at you.

You weird human, you.]

[It's not like there is ANYTHING he can do about it. He doesn't know anything about these human clothings.]

[What he does know is he sees something in the water.]

[Something green.]

[Leaning between the railings he looks down at her, and lets out a loud WAH wah sound, pawing at the edge and looking like he wanted to jump in after her. Wah! He bounced, staring down, whining]

5/15 - 5/18

[5/15]

[Even before she's fully awake, Elsa knows that something is wrong. This isn't her bed. The mattress isn't as soft as it should be and it's not as big. It's not Anna's bed either, nor her parents, did she fall asleep somewhere else?

As she opens her eyes, though, it's clear that not only this isn't her bed but it's not even Arendelle's Castle.]

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!!!!!!!!!

[A sharp terrified cry is pretty much the only warning anyone on the ship gets before the place gets covered with frost, not completely but close enough. Soon after, there's an eight years old Elsa running around trying to find the deck and a way to get back to Arendelle.]

[5/16 - 5/18]

[After the initial scare and while Elsa still wants to go back home, she's going to be more relaxed and decides to spend her time playing. After all with no way to know the way back to Arendelle and in the middle of the sea, what else can she do?

Of course, Elsa's playing involves the full use of her powers. Adults beware of getting frozen behinds or getting your drink suddenly iced. On the deck there's a huge ice slide which Elsa climbs before sliding down to the water. Anyone is welcome to come and play with her or try to get her to stop and thaw the ice a bit.]

[5/16 - the bitty bear came charging out of a dark corner, just romping, running. He had escaped someone just a moment before, and... charging out he slipped on something. Ice? his little paws should know ice.]

[he stumbled, twisted and rolled onto his butt, stood again and THUNK... ran into a ice slide? He sat there, looking confused, and letting out a loud bear cry of surprise. What. Happened!?]

CUDDLE PUDDLE - Evening of 5/17

[It's been a very long couple of action packed few days! Bepo is just wiped OUT. He's just a lil guy you know. So that place where they were told to rest? Forget it. He flopped out on the deck, rolling over on his belly and sighed, paws out and.... huff. He closed his eyes to sleep.]

[Not too long after he's settled in Luffy is everywhere and doing all the things, seemingly an endless fond of energy. Find him in the crow's nest, on the figure head, peeking through the rooms, going through the hold, drawing on the walls, trying to avoid a bath and Sanji can't make him and omg guys we really need a bath thread because that would be too freakin' cute, crawling into your hammock at night, girls or guys and generally being a pain in the ass]

[Having Anna as a sister Elsa's way too used to the feeling of someone crawling into her bed. Except that Anna isn't here, which is why she doesn't ignore the feeling like usual. She turns around, more asleep than awake, to eye Luffy.

FORT KUJA 5/16 - 5/18

[ Made out of cushions and blankets stands the mighty and proud Fort Kuja. Inside that noble fort is a very tiny, very sleepy Shakki, who's armed herself with a fork and a pan lid she stole from the kitchen. What is she defending from? Boys, of course!

She's taken it upon herself to try to group all the girls in the safety of her fort to keep those gross, mean boys from doing... whatever it is boys do. She's not clear on that part. ]

[It's a pillow fooooort! It's not as awesome as an ice fort, but this one is less tiring to make!

Elsa crawls inside with a smile, wondering who made this and finding Shakki inside. Oh, she seems tired, is it okay for her to visit then or should she come back later?]

Psssht.

[Softly enough to not actually wake the other girl up, but if she's awake she will probably hear her if she hasn't noticed her visitor yet.]

19th

[Zoro is woken in the middle of the night by the rather unpleasant sensation of his clothes being way too tight in sensitive places, coupled with the feeling of his limbs being tangled in the hammock unnaturally, so he's one of the first to realize that he's returned to normal. What relief! But only after he's ripped the child-sized clothing off of him and put his real pants back on. There's things he wants to - needs to - do, but it's the middle of the damn night so he just flops back into the hammock and passes back out.

At dawn, however, Sanji might feel a shadow looming over him while he sleeps.

By midday, Zoro is sitting out on the main deck lovingly cleaning and polishing his swords. He may even do some training in a bit, but he's out in the open, taking care of his babies since he barely touched them for four whole days. He may seem to be ignoring everyone, or perhaps embarrassed to want to talk to them, but it's quite the opposite. He has questions for a few of them, and every time someone walks into his line of sight, he looks up from his task, ready to be interrupted.

At least for today. The rest of their sailing trip, who knows?]

[Luffy is sitting on the figurehead as he has been since earlier this morning, but after some time, turns his attention to watch Zoro train. They need weights for him, he remembers. And a bigger crow's nest he can train in. They'll have to get a lot of treasure soon so they can get that kind of stuff. Maybe they can sail with Moto-chan again so they could do both at the same time. Either way, it' s good watching Zoro his sort of usual age, doing what he loves best and not really worrying about anything so for the moment, Luffy is content to watch.]
