Okay! [He climbs up on the chair to pull out a glass from the cupboard and then drags the chair back to the table. It's a little awkward, trying to open the orange juice with his little hands. If he were actually five, he'd be a little on the young side to pour himself juice.]

At least you're not a kid too.

If I was, we'd have a lot of trouble making sure everyone was fed. I was an apprentice when I was your age, but it was a lot more difficult handling the equipment back then.

I know, Chandra had me try and cut something for her. It's terrible trying to use these little hands for that.

I could work a knife just fine back then. It's reaching across the burners that's askin' for trouble. No chef worth their salt is afraid of fire but it's downright stupid to risk your hands unnecessarily.

I guess that's good you know how. My mom made all my meals for me my whole life so it's kind of different.

[With his drink acquired, he drags the chair back to where he needs it to be and sits on it to start eating.]

I don't think I could reach across anything, I can't see over the counter.

Yeah. This is just proof that I've always been short for a boy my age.

[He huffs, mildly annoyed. He isn't even sure how it is he's so short, his parents were taller than he was.]

You probably would've hit your growth spurt later on. Not aging anymore seems like it'd stop that from happening.

Well yeah, I'm not going to grow anymore, I already died.

Then you'll have to just get used to it. Not much choice other than that.

I'm used to it as an adult, but right now I'm about five and it's pretty hard to move around like this.

You'll just have to adapt and get used to it again then. Not much choice until whatever caused this wears off.

I hope it wears off soon. It's pretty annoying. At least I don't think I'm five.

As long as you're still aware of how old you are, it'll make life easier on both of us. I don't like babysitting.
