[She takes a seat at the edge of the deck and begins releasing her pokemon from their pokeballs one by one. Watching as they appeared on the sand bed bellow them.]
You guys stand guard and make sure nothing happens to this ship, alright?
[As second in command, Garchomp nods in agreement and begins assigning positions for each pokemon. Cynthia on the other hand, gets back on her feet and begins wandering the deck. Checking barrels and crates.]
no subject
Yyyeah, that'll do.
[He knows Toothless is down there somewhere, too. Hopefully they don't make a fuss while they're all hanging out.
So the boy Viking and lady Pokemon trainer have things to check out here. He goes to start on one end farther from Cynthia, picking at some of the debris left lying there.]
no subject
And lo and behold she found something...well... ]
Hey Hiccup!
[ She holds up a skeleton hand towards the young viking. So mature.]
High five

[The old clay container Hiccup had in his hands? Gone the next moment when he drops it, letting it clatter and roll into pieces.]
–AHghdon't do that! You don't know where he's been!
no subject
Oh relax, I've dealt with my dirtier things that skeletons. Though I do find it a little strange that it's inside a barrel. Poor guy must have gotten trapped in there or something. A stowaway maybe?
[She pokes at one of the skull's teeth and watches as it comes off and rolls to one side of the deck.]
no subject
Still. It's pretty gross, finding something– or someone – lying around like that.
[A brow arches as he watches the rolling tooth momentarily before going back to poking around the other stuff.]
If he was in there, it's possible. But isn't it sort of strange to just have him sitting in there all this time?
no subject
[ She shuddered at the thought They had a real pirate in their crew after all, and thinking about physical torture made her skin crawl. Urgh.
Cynthia gently returns the skull into the barrel then drags the thing to the top of the deck where she drops it onto the water. The guy deserved a proper burial at sea, at least. ]
no subject
Egh. If that's the case, tough break.
[Trying to make light of it doesn't mean he's being heartless, but he does remain silent as Cynthia gives the skeleton its burial at sea.]
...I guess that's about all you can do for him now. Which is...nice.

[ She didn't want the mood to get too serious either. So she'll go ahead and mess his hair before waltzing over to one of the massive holes on the ship and jump into it, because really, who uses staircases anymore? ]
no subject
Hey!
[He doesn't even bother to fix it as he shuffles after her. And at least he checks before jumping in after her.]
no subject
Cynthia messes around with one corner of the room. Clearly more excited than when she found that skeleton. ]
no subject
Hiccup checks himself before looking to where the Pokemon trainer has gone, quirking a brow at the odds and ends that are left over.]
Something tells me you found something interesting. As in "something that use to not be alive."

[ Grin grin grin ]

[She pulls out an old rusty sword with a skull still attached to it.]
This might still be useful. Just needs a good cleaning and sharpening.
no subject
That can easily be done, but I thought we still had some weapons?
no subject
[ She motions to the skull stuck to the tip of the sword. Talk about sick humor. But she's kind enough to pull the skull out and rest it on what looked to be a table. ]
no subject
Well. We could take a stab at how he earned that, but I think it would be cutting into our exploration and pilfering time.
[...Yeah. He knows.
Excuse him as he goes to see what else they can find.]
no subject
So tell me something, Hiccup. Did you get to do a lot of adventuring back home?
[ She says as she examines something that looked like a puzzle box. ]
no subject
If you count exploring the rest of an island you were born on adventuring, sure. I've done that countless times.
no subject
[ Ok, it seems she found a puzzle box. Now she's just fiddling with it, trying to solve the damn thing. ]
no subject
[He sincerely means that. As the vase is set down, he lifts the lid of another small chest. It happens to have some glass bottles inside.]
no subject
Well the only difference between your world and mine, is that I have wifi. Plus pokemon researchers are working around the clock looking for new breeds and types. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if they find a few hundred more by the time I get ho--
[ And suddenly she hears a click. Seems she managed to open that puzzle box. ]
Oh hey, look at that.
no subject
[He may be tugging on the stopper as the click goes off.]
–What've you got?
no subject
A key? No note or anything, just this key.
