[while the dragon ducked its head into the water to take in more of it, it's two tails came after Arthur again. It wasn't watching him right now so instead of precise attacks they just sort of flailed at him, hoping to smack him. If one did hit him, it would try to curl around him again]

[Thash, who had just finished trying to distract the monster so Faye could shoot it, glanced that direction when he heard a splash. He expected another tail was coming up to attack them...but wait, one had gone away? And had there been something colorful held in it...?]

[the tail pulled Arthur lower heedlessly. The monster wasn't even paying attention to him anymore, knowing that pretty much whatever it's tails grabbed and pulled into the water ended up dying pretty quickly. Then it could just sort of drag him along for a while until it got hungry...a snack on the go]
[it held tightly despite Arthur's struggling, until about 30 seconds later when it felt a piercing pain near it's intended snack. Thash had stabbed his sword strongly into the tail. It was hard to get leverage in the water so it didn't go all the way through, but it was deep enough so that when Thash pulled sideways on it, it split the tail open and caused a tremor to spread through the water as the monster jerked in pain.]
[the tail let go of Arthur and Thash grabbed him, swimming towards the surface. The dragon's third head was down there checking him out by now and bit at him as he swam. The shark hybrid yelped in pain when the dragon bit his tail, but managed to kick it in the eye before it had done any deep damage, getting it to back off. That bought him the few seconds he needed to scale the side of the ship with his claws, hauling Arthur's soaked body to the safety of the deck behind a stack of crates. He paused, panting as he checked to see if Arthur was breathing now that he was out of the water]

[Thash did think this was strange....but not because Arthur was a guy, more because Thash had purposely drowned people before and now he was trying to reverse the process.]
[he rolled Arthur over for a second to get excess water from his lungs, then returned him to his back. The shark hybrid put his mouth over the country's, breathing into it a couple of times. When he realized air was escaping trough his nose, he reached up to put a hand over it then continued, hoping it was working. It'd be pretty crappy to lose a crew mate to some stupid hungry sea monster

What- [Cough.] What happened?

You were dragged overboard, so I brought you back. You okay?
[he had a sense of urgency in his voice, ready to jump back into the fight now that Arthur was breathing]

[Because from the sounds of it they obviously weren't done fighting the thing.]

It's about fifteen feet to the left of the mast....but be careful, another one of the tails is coming up. [he ran out from behind the crates, going to deal with the tail and try to distract the monster more so Faye could land enough cannonball hits to drive it off]

[Peeking out from behind the crates, he dove for his sword to rejoin the fight.]
