[his instincts told him something dangerous was near. It made the hair on the back of his neck stand up and he quickly jumped back into the water. He looked around in the water for a few moments before he felt some pretty tremendous electrical pulses coming from the muscles of something large a few hundred yards behind the ship. He looked that way and saw it- an enormous sea monster. It appeared to be some kind of aquatic hydra, with three heads and three tails. Oh crap]
[thash quickly jumped back up onto the deck, running to get his sword. Oh yeah...and maybe he should warn the crew?]
There's a monster coming towards the rear of the ship! [he yelled at the top of his lungs. Just then, the creature neared the surface of the water, sticking one of its heads up to get a look at the ship. One of its heads alone was about ten feet long]

But as she got further out onto the deck, Faye got a glimpse of just what Thash was yelling about. She froze to the spot, guns in her hands but resting at her sides*
What the fuck is this? This was not what I meant when I asked you to bring me something nice...
no subject
I didn't bring it! At least not on purpose...[he glanced at the net of seafood he'd brought back. Maybe it had been drawn by that? He'd caught a lot of seafood in his home world, but not normally that many or if such variety in one dive.]
I wonder if I could dive back in and lead it away...
[its one head ducked back under the water as it got close, disappearing. The ship rocked a little, buffeted by the waves the creature had brought with it. Moments later, one of its tails emerged from the water at the front of the ship, behind Thash and Faye! It started coming down towards them, possibly aiming to sweep them off the deck]

Grell rushed out on deck, her DEATHSCYTHE in her hand and looks up at the creature's tail coming at them. Not wasting time, Grell rushes in and cuts off the tail in one strike. The part that gets cut off, luckily, misses their crew and deck by centimeters. She turns to Thash and Faye, not looking pleased by this]
WHAT IS THIS?!
[Like they need to deal with more things right now!]
no subject
She moved swiftly out of the way for Grell, silently noting how deadly she is, since she hadn't seen her captain in action before. But she scowled at the accusation in Grell's voice or, at least, the accusation that she thought was there*
This has got nothing to do with me! It followed him!
*Faye turned to wave a gun in Thash's direction before shooting bullets with an aim for the creature's eye*
Grell>Faye>Thash I guess!

[Dave walks toward the back of the ship to get a look at it and sure enough there's some large aquatic beast with more limbs than it knows what to do with swimming up beside the ship and flopping one of it's tails over the deck.
It doesn't looks happy either. The tail thrashes around violently as though it'd like to tear the whole deck apart. Dave gets out his sword.]
Holy shit, dude. What did you do, steal it's dinner?
no subject
[Thash got between the tail and Dave, slashing at it. He was strong enough to cut through the scales of the tail, but it was such a large tail that the sword was only long enough to cut about halfway through it. The tail recoiled in pain, then began to thrash around unpredictably]
Holy crap! [Thash yelled, ducking as it swung over him quickly and continued whipping around]
no subject
Damn, almost had it.
[He steps back while the tail flails around some more. From the size of it, this seems like a pretty big and powerful monster. Dave is still sure they can take it down though.]
no subject
Uh...looks like we pissed it off. [his comment was punctuated by a roar, and after the roar ended in a growl, the hydra opened it mouth wide and spewed hot boiling water at the two of them]

Late to party as always
Green eyes going wide, she dropped her jacked and grabbed the daggers, running towards the upper deck, skipping the stairs as she goes. The ship rocked hard as she finally came outside, making her stumble to the side and hit with her back the mast. One of the monster's leg raised in the air-]
GET DOWN!
Re: Late to party as always
[a moment or two later, a huge spiky head rose from the water, letting out a low girl was it turned to look at the ship and it's tasty occupants. Mostly on Kat since she was closest. It snarled, getting ready to bite at her]
no subject
Still, she doesn't plan to end up being a snack for some monster in middle of nowhere.
As the monster lunges at her, she uses her ability to dash forward. But not away from the monster, but blinking on its head. She shoves one of her blades in its head, holding tight onto it so she doesn't falls off while trying to assess the situation or any weak point she can exploit.]
no subject
[it tossed its head this way and that, trying to shake her off. She'd see she was near its eyes now... They looked like they could be stabbed, though it might be hard to do so without falling off]

Oh look. Dinner!
[She immediately lunged at the beast, jabbing a hunting knife right into one of it's limbs, stabbing it as hard as she could through it's rough exterior. She wanted it's attention bad, but right now, she'd just be wasting ammo just attacking the tail.]
no subject
[shed also find that was pretty painful for the monster, because the tail she stabbed started thrashing around wildly. It would be pretty hard for her to not get knocked off- hold on tight!]
no subject
Shit. ]
Anyone want to help?! This thing won't fry itself!
[ The tail flails, nearly catching the little girl as she rolls out of the way, hopping around and kicking mines straight at the tail. Maybe a few controlled explosions would catch it's ire. ]

Diving back into the cabin for his sword, he leapt after one of those flailing tails with teeth bared.]
Like hell you're attacking my ship!
no subject
[Either way, he'd definitely be able to stab the sword sideways under a scale to stab the flesh beneath without breaking them of he felt so inclined- he'd better move quickly though!]

[it pulled its tail back from Arthur's second strike, hissing. A second tail came up out of the water, and both tails came at Arthur from either side, trying to crush hmm in between them]

Gun Frontier: May 26th
No Wearing Red After Breakfast.
Well, this crew is screwed already, and Grell is already causing a bar fight. Several people are being thrown out of windows, so watch for flying bodies!]
(ooc: make up your own laws for any day we're here!)
Gun Frontier: May 28th
Tequila ONLY After 8pm. No Other Beverages Allowed.
At least she was able to wear her red dress that day, the fitted mini red dress that left very little to the imagination. But that was part of her strategy for playing cards, and therefore perfectly acceptable.
Come join Faye playing cards, or else maybe take her for a drink when she has a break. But watch out for that Tequila Only law*
Re: Gun Frontier: May 28th
[so, he sat in the corner like a boring statue, watching her from under the hood of a cloak he'd had sitting around on the ship. He sort of wanted to try his hand at poker and socialize with Faye, but he'd figured he'd hang back until she'd had plenty of fun first before taking off the cloak and possibly starting something]
[of course, this was all assuming the men were polite to Faye. If any of them tried to get their hands of what they saw under that mini red dress, then there would be problems]
no subject
Finding him in the corner, Faye crossed the room over to his table, eyes and whispers following her on the way. Mostly, she ignored it - knew it was happening but walked straight by it - but some were given fleeting eye contact, good or bad depending. Finally though, she sat down on the chair along from Thash's, and put her purse down on the table with a small thud*
Well, that was productive.
