[hed never seen someone get so pissy about someone offering to make them something. He frowned, a little irritated. The he thought of a reason maybe why she was so resistant to the idea] is it because you don't know how to wield larger weapons?
no subject
It is impossible for me to learn it. [Katarina doesn't explain it further. She snatches some cloth from top of some crate, ripping it a little and then proceeds to wrap up her bleeding palm. Yes, she did squeeze her blade hard enough to make it bleed.] I will just have to play it smarter next time.

[he looked at her daggers in their sheaths for a moment] don't get me wrong, I'm not suggesting you switch up what you primarily use. Obviously you've been trained with those daggers and they're nice, but wouldn't also be nice to have a few other skills at your disposal? I primarily fight using my sword but that doesn't mean it's the only weapon I know how to use. Sometimes I switch it up and train with staffs, axes or spears... [he gave a little chuckle] I even tried training with daggers once but I just couldn't get into it.
[as he spoke, his eyes were fixed on her bleeding hand. He seemed oddly focused on it]

She looks at her wrapped hand before clenching it into fist, the wraps easily getting drenched in blood- someone would say she's a masochist-]
It is impossible for me to wield a sword. My instincts are all wrong when I grab the handle. [She turns to give him a look-] 'Couldn't get into it' as you said. [Not to mention that she feels naked when she has one (naked as in it draws attention to her when she should be shrouded in darkness and mystery as an assassin).]

[he shrugged] I understand the instincts thing though. If someone asked me to sneak around and be a stealthy fighter, I'd suck at it [which he specifically mentioned because in the past, people he'd seen use daggers were normally stealthy fighters]

Anything but daggers draws too much attention to me. And as you concluded, I fight from shadows and as silently as possible. [she tries to explain. Bombs are a definitive no, although, she could fire canons. Spears- she could try but she has a feeling she'd be very clumsy.]
When are we docking? [She tries to change the subject. She's not feeling too hot, being so long in the open seas. Landing on the firm ground would be like a hot shower back home.]

I'm not sure, you'd have to ask the Captain if she has a destination in mind. But usually we don't sail much longer than a few days to a week before hitting another island...at least that's the way it's been the last few times. I haven't exactly been here long enough to say what's 'normal', I guess

I don't really care, I just wish I could have a decent bath. [And not resort to wash herself with water from barrel. Yes, she's spoiled a little. She won't complain more than this though- it's just to point out that she's displeased. She brings up her feet on crate and leans her back against the other one, behind her. She feels as if she fought for days. Her curiosity kicks in again-]
Where are you from? [He's not from Runttera, that's for sure. If he was, he'd know about Fizz.]

[when she asked him where he was from he actually had to think about it a moment] that's...kinda a difficult question actually. It seems like everyone here is from different worlds, and I don't really know if my world had a name. Kingdoms and cities and towns and Aquarian domains did, but I didn't affiliate myself with any of them so they're not my homes. Let's see.. In my home world I spent most of my time in a body of water called the 'Great Sea' and the sea village closest to where I was abandoned as a baby was called 'Fairport'. But if you're from a different world Im guessing you have no idea where those palaces are.

[She cracks her neck-] I'm from Noxus, land Runtera. I am kind of total opposite to you when it comes to belonging to cities and families. But I wouldn't have it any other way. [She closes her eyes briefly, feeling sick. Maybe she should go to her cabin... but the breeze was refreshing so she doesn't move.]
no subject
[he watched her close her eyes]
You don't look so good. Are you seasick or something?
no subject
[Katarina rubs her temples-] No idea, I have headache. But the thought of going inside to rest is making me feel sick.
no subject
[he glanced at his cut up tail] well, I should probably go bandage this. But I'll see ya later I guess.
no subject
She glances at his tail and nods shortly-] You do that. It'd be bad if it gets infected.
no subject
well, later. [he gave a brief wave then went to go find some bandages]
