[Lea, true to form, is hanging back and leaning on a rail, trying to look nonchalant. He hasn't let anyone see how worried and lost he's been so far and he's not about to start now.]

[Roxas goes over to him and offers a little smile.]

Hey Lea. I'm back.

[Lea pushes off the rail and ruffles Roxas' hair, feeling an overwhelming sense of relief once he has those soft spikes under his hand again. He'd resigned himself to it all being over, just as he had when Roxas had been poisoned, but now it's like everything is falling back into place and one of the big gaping holes in his life is filled again. It's stupid and sentimental, but it's true.]

You're gonna mess up my hair.

[He gives a lighthearted complaint, but doesn't stop Lea from doing it. He steps forward though and leans against him slightly.]

How's anyone supposed to be able to tell if it's messed up or not?

[Lea messes it up further and if that means he has to step a little forward himself, well, that's just how it's going to have to be done.]

[Roxas settles on snaking his arms around Lea for a moment but he doesn't squeeze, he grimaces with a little hiss.]

You're always messing it up.

You can't blame that on me. It always looks like that. More importantly...

[He thought Roxas was moving a little gingerly. That he's not attacking him with affection is a definite indication that something's up.]

You're hurt, aren't you?

[He nods a little bit.]

A little. I can still fight though if I have to. It's not too bad, really.

Uh huh, sure. Right abooooout...

[It's got to be his arm or his side. Somewhere around there. Lea points at Roxas, tracing a line in the air and threatening to poke at what look like probable spots, just waiting for a reaction.]

[There's no way that someone who has to be as amazing at poker as Roxas would be would fall for a trick like that.

This was why Roxas totally did not flinch when Lea hovered his fingers over his right shoulder. He also did not take a small step back to avoid Lea's fingers.]

[Lea's finger stops right at his right shoulder.]

You need to go get cleaned up so we can cover you in bandages, tough guy. Head to toe. Like a mummy. Now move it.

[Roxas rolls his eyes a little and nods.]

Fine, I'm going to wash up then.

You gonna need help? Seems like you got a little problem right here.

[He moves like he's going to actually poke his shoulder this time.]

[Roxas figured he'd just deal with it. Isn't that how it works? He tilts his head at Lea, thinking.]

Maybe? Geez, who taught you to take care of yourself, anyway? That guy did a pretty shoddy job. C'mon.

[Lea leads the way below decks.]

You get started and you call me if you need help, okay? I'll get the bandages and stuff together.

Okay, I will.

[It's probably not that bad and Lea's worried for nothing, Roxas figures. He gets some clean clothes before disappearing into the bathroom to clean up. As he peels off his clothes he can't help but grimace at his reflection. It's a little worse than he thought. He sighs and starts the water. It will be easier to get a look when he's not so dirty.]

[Lea is being good and trying not to hover, so he after he collects the bandages and what passes as their first aid-kit, he waits it out in the galley. It can't hurt to throw together a few sandwiches. Roxas probably misses real food, after all.]

[It's a good ten minutes before he's clean and he goes searching for Lea. He will find him with his towel draped over his shoulders, but he did manage to get his pants on just fine. Roxas wanders into the galley, the dripping of his hair carefully taken care of by his towel.]

I guess I need a little help.

[Lea puts a plate of sandwiches on the table next to the medical supplies, then sits down and waves Roxas over.]

Yeah, okay.

[There's bruises, but those don't really need medical care. Roxas pulls the towel off his shoulders and he's been shot through the right shoulder. It's clean through, fortunately. He's also got a good sized gash on his lower left back. Luckily it isn't deep. He'll give Lea a nervous smile.]

At least most of it wasn't mine.

"At least," nothing! Geez, Roxas!

[He's lucky he didn't bleed out. Honestly, Lea's not even sure what to do with a gunshot wound. Maybe it's finally time to learn cure spells. For now, all he can do is make sure it's cleaned out, treated with antiseptic, and bandaged. The gash on his back is easier to deal with. That's just going to be inconvenient and painful for a while.]

You need to be careful with this shoulder until it heals, okay? You're lucky the bullet didn't get stuck in here or I'd have to get it out and then you'd really be in trouble.

[Roxas holds still while he's being bandaged.]

I got surrounded twice. I did the best I could...

You might wanna sleep in your own hammock for a while until this gets better. I don't wanna elbow you or roll over on you or something in the middle of the night and make this any worse than it already is.

[Lea carefully moves Roxas' arm to make sure he hasn't tied any bandages too tight.]

That feel okay? Not cutting off the circulation, is it?

[Roxas pays the moving of his arm no mind at all, he just stares at Lea wide-eyed.]

But I don't want to. I want to sleep with you!

[ Pause. Wait. What?

The blonde had heard about Roxas' return and ran back as fast as she could, poot babies in tow, to go and greet him. But this? Well you can clearly see her covering the ears of her baby poots. ]
