Malevolent Mist on Spice Island
Who: Triton’s Mistress
Where: Spice Island
When: Oct. 10 - ??
What: As members of the crew touched by the mist grow more malicious they begin to cause turmoil on the ship turning a normal spice run chaotic.
Warnings: Possible fighting and language
Style: Whatever you want
Status: Closed to crew
The prow of the Mistress cut effortlessly through the salty water as the ship came to rest along side the dock. The uninhabited island was well known for its vast array of plant life, the bulk of which could be sold on the open market as spices or used to brighten up a weary sailor’s galley-cooked meals. Several large washtub sat on the dock just waiting for some one ambitious enough to fill them full of the island’s delicacies.
The trip to the island had been relatively calm with no major storms or hardships to slow their travel but now that they had docked odd things seemed to be happening all too frequently. Maybe the black mist the morning before had something to do with it?

"The Navy is trying to maintain some sense of order, in that I can not fault them, but they are going about it in entirely the wrong manner."
Slave labor. Why rely on that when the population of the island itself might be moved towards action? Offer them food, housing, the chance at a better life... it wouldn't take much. Such incentives worked wonders on the helpless and needy.
"Ban is inside, the second cell from the left." Haytham's confidence faded as the next portion was said as he was the very cause of the trouble. If not for his blade Ban might have been out working, making the rescue so much easier for the rest of them, "Doubtless his injuries proved too severe to force him to work."
As for getting him back out of the fort, well, Haytham would certainly not be fighting his way in and climbing the walls was not an option with a broken arm... The more direct approach might be best.
"I thought I might knock on the front door, ask to see the Fort's Commander. He might be the one holding onto the keys and if not he would know who was."

Haytham might have neglected to mention the gutting Ban like a fish part in the explanation of what had happened.
"How did you find that out where he was?"
Harlock stumbled a bit a hearing that last part. It was just several differently kinds of wrong.
"Seriously? Why would they even let you in the front gate?"

Speaking about his gift was a good deal easier than that!
"When you have worked in my profession," as an assassin and Templar, "as long as I have you develop certain skills. One is being able to pick anyone from a crowd. He is there just as I said. I saw him when I was scouting the fort earlier."
Eagle vision by any other name, course he would not call it that for he had never named the skill. It was simply an advanced sense he had acquired over the years.
"As for the gate," He looked over at Harlock and smirked, "They may not, but I have bluffed my way into places before."
Just act high and mighty like you belonged there or there was a matter of urgent business for the base's commander. Front gate guards were not usually the smartest men in the garrison.
"And if they should be less than agreeable to allowing me to enter yet chance to open the door to speak to me, then you might then be able to slip inside. Either way one of us might make it in and clear the way for the other."

"There a side gate to this place? And if you get please make any distractions unlikely to spread outside of the base." The place was mostly metal and stone by they did not need to accidentally burn down half the town.

Not to say that it was not a way in, and perhaps more unguarded given that so much attention was focused on the main gate.
"While I attempt to speak with the guards in the front will you attempt an entry there?"
