Malevolent Mist on Spice Island
Who: Triton’s Mistress
Where: Spice Island
When: Oct. 10 - ??
What: As members of the crew touched by the mist grow more malicious they begin to cause turmoil on the ship turning a normal spice run chaotic.
Warnings: Possible fighting and language
Style: Whatever you want
Status: Closed to crew
The prow of the Mistress cut effortlessly through the salty water as the ship came to rest along side the dock. The uninhabited island was well known for its vast array of plant life, the bulk of which could be sold on the open market as spices or used to brighten up a weary sailor’s galley-cooked meals. Several large washtub sat on the dock just waiting for some one ambitious enough to fill them full of the island’s delicacies.
The trip to the island had been relatively calm with no major storms or hardships to slow their travel but now that they had docked odd things seemed to be happening all too frequently. Maybe the black mist the morning before had something to do with it?

PERSONAL CONCERNS
There is absolutely no other reason at all. Nope. But, well, during the day sailing on the tenth, she'll be seeking out her fellow crew mates one-on-one. There are just a couple things she wants to talk about.]

Fortunately he had a spare hat and that had been the one 'borrowed' so his own condition might still be concealed and when he neared it was a harsh tone that made it's appearance and not any steel. ]
In general I find a bonnet is more suitable for a lady than a gentleman's hat two sizes too large for her...

BOUNTY BOX
[OOC: The evil, yet childish pranks, can only go so far. As the desire to do worse and even more terrible things to his crew grows it will eventually prove impossible for Haytham to resist making use of the bounty box. If you want your character to get thrown into a box tag here! ]

Kneeling down in front of a nearby plant, Lenalee had chosen to take a closer look and maybe ask someone in the crew if they had a better idea of what it was or not. What better way to learn after all.

Lyrik wasn't disappointed as he'd found a few that he was familiar with, and those were really all that he'd need. He had taken one of the wooden tub things he'd found at the dock to gather a little since he had nothing else to carry them in, although he highly doubted he'd fill the entire thing. A little went a long way, after all!
"Phew...this is a lot of work. At least if it were a garden you wouldn't have to wander everywhere...!" he sighed, leaning against a tree, perhaps not far from the box. He set his tub of spices down so that he could stretch out his arms over his head.

Kidd had wandered far, far from the harbor, and far from everyone else. He abandoned his crate and knelt beneath a bent tree, inspecting the underbrush. He hummed a lively shanty, his posture like that of a panther's--relaxed, but with a coil in its stomach, ready to spring to action if needed.
Still, he didn't expect a trip to such a quiet island to be at all eventful, so you could say he was off guard.

He stayed away from it for a while, listening for any signs of life.. but when everything remained silent he moved closer to inspect it.
Apparently endless days of being on sea and acting as a merchant ship was getting the better of him. He wanted to investigate something potentially dangerous. Setting a hand on the wood he scoffed. "If this is the best they've got.... it wouldn't be able to contain me." That couldn't be all there was to this thing... or a lot of the refugees could just use brute force to escape.

Naval Base on Ebony&Ivory
Every morning before the sun had even lightened the sky the prisoners were ushered out of their small concrete cells, shackled, and marched out into the city streets for a days hard labor. The section of town called Ebony could use all the help it could get. The people here were incredibly poor and did not have the means to make repairs to the city themselves. The building and city streets were all in need of attention and that was where the Navy in all their wisdom found a solution, the captured pirates.

If she stopped they'd get the whip and slam it hard onto her back to cause her to flinch and try and keep up with the thought that it could happen again. Today was no exception as with the chains still in place and no way of using her anklets they pulled her towards the city and another day of work was to begin.

Some of the officers made it a sport to pass by his cell and taunt him.
The state he was in.. he probably looked a bit like a wild animal, his gaze hardened his body at it's limits.

Scouting
The people that did seem to be working all clearly criminals. The town would rather have the Navy provide free labor than create actual paying jobs in this city.
A few were pirates among them judging by a few of the tattoos. There was a chance a few of his captured crew where among them. He keeps an eye out for blue hair or Lenalee's dark hair.
He passes down a street where chain gang works seem to be replacing the side walk.]

Checking on the fort
Who would have thought Connor had power like that?
And why couldn't he have used it sooner to prevent the crew being harmed.Haytham closed his eyes and when he opened them again the fort lit up below him. Patrols of guards inside the fort glowed bright red while those he was searching for took on more of a golden hue. There were others too, in a pale blue, pirates or others forced into labor due to the corrupt practices of the Navy. Well, they would soon put an end to that.
With his investigation complete his sight returned to normal with a simple blink and then he was off, towards the fort's main gate. He would be no great force in a fight but maybe there would be some other way to set right what he had done wrong.

Let's start a riot
Her eyes would trailed off every now and again to check and each time he hadn't appeared. It caused her to worry that he won't come out but soon she spotted the familiar face and knew now was the time. He plan will be put in action and she hoped her friend would help her in getting the keys to the power draining shackles.
If they got that they should be safe from here on out. She hoped. Once the officer got closer the indiscreetly nudged a fellow prisoner, knocking him into another as an argument and eventually a fight started out causing the navy to spring into action as it slowly got bigger and bigger, more and more prisoners getting involve.
Now was the time for action as Lenalee looked over, hoping that her fellow crew would take the cue and try and attempt to nab the keys. All she could do now was hope things work.
