There Are More Things in Heaven and Earth

Who: Everyone involved in Death Day
Where: Noctem
When: January 21st-25th
What: Taking on Hawtrey, destroying shrines, and raiding his supplies. Surviving Noctem...or not. With a good dose of nightmares in between.
Warnings: Language. Violence. Trauma. It's an island of nightmares. Expect the worst.
Status: Open to all.
Killing Hawtrey seems to come first and foremost. The shrines can wait until after. We'll see if the wind blows fair or ill on that decision (on the 25th).
For now, the descriptions should tell you all you need to know. If not? Feel free to check / ask here.

[he saw her pistols lying near by and swept them closer with his tail, then placed them right next to her] here's your guns if you need them for self defense. But seriously, you shouldn't even try to stand up right now.
[he got nervous as the fight grew sore... He wanted To get Faye back to the ship but would have a hard one forgiving himself if something happened to someone else he cared about]
I'll come back for you soon as he's down, okay? We have to finish him...Cat made it sound like we'd all be in a lot of danger if we didn't.
[he didn't seems to realize or acknowledge that he was bleeding a decent amount too...the shark beast hadn't landed any bites on him, but it had scratched him all over. He had some nasty bruises developing too. Still, he started to gently lay her down so he could go help]
no subject
Are you...okay?
*She opened her eyes slightly to look up and him, trying to lift her face but not managing it for long*
...just...come back to me...
*Though the moment he did try to go off to rejoin the fight, Faye would pull herself to sit up, no matter how painful it was. She wanted to be there too, even if she felt very dizzy and confused*
no subject
[he stopped himself there, knowing that wasn't the kind of thing she wanted to hear right now]
I'll come back to you. Definitely.
[once he'd laid her down, he paused to lean over and kiss her quickly but deeply, supporting the back of her head so she wouldn't have to move]
I love you... be right back.
[he jumped up, going to grab his sword before heading to the fight]
no subject
...I love you too.
*It would take Faye quite some time to get back up onto her feet. When she did, she felt fuzzy and uncertain in each step that she made. Faye knew she couldn't get too deep into the fight, so instead she'd find something to lean against and, from a distance, send the occasional bullet into the fray when needed, though her aim wasn't quite as good as it could be*

[the fight didn't last much longer after that, with various outlanders relentlessly attacking until finally Hawtry was dead. Thash was very impressed by Selphie's last move, but he was out of commission now. He limped back over to Faye, pressing a hand tightly over his sword wound. It was difficult to tell how deep it was....he was still covered in shark monster blood so it was impossible to see how much his own wounds were bleeding]
Hey...let's get you back to the ship now... Well actually just gimme a sec to bandage this. Don't wanna lose too much blood to help you...
[he paused a moment to make a bandage out of his cargo pants. Since he'd used his shirt for her that left him in just his shorts but he didn't seem to care. Once the wound had been covered he stood back up to offer her an arm. By now she'd know him well enough to tell by his voice and posture that he was in pain, but at least he didn't seem as lightheaded as her...he hadn't lost as much blood yet apparently]

As they hobbled back to the ship, it took Faye a while to remember what the whole point in all this pain had been. She'd been so worried for Thash and so dizzy from her wounds that she'd almost forgotten*
...is he gone?
no subject
[he gave a sigh of relief as the ship came into view, and when Faye spoke up he nodded] yeah, he's gone. It was a pain in the butt to being him down cuz of his magical crap, but I'm fairly certain he's dead for good now

*She glanced up at him, and even though she looked rather pale and her eyes were somewhat vacant, Faye attempted a smile to show that she was pleased, and proud of his efforts too. Her hand squeezed gently at his waist, half to keep herself standing, half a show of affection*

Let's go patch each other up and lay down...
[he was happy she didn't seem mad at him for getting hurt this time. Maybe this qualified as a time when it had been okay to risk his life? She'd done it too after all...and of they hadn't brought Hawtry down apparently there could have been deadly consequences for all outlanders. It made sense]
[he took her to his room since the first aid kit was still in there, helping her sit on the bed then leaning down to get the kit]
no subject
Instead of sitting down, Faye lay down across the bed, looking at Thash with watery eyes*
You're hurt the most...let me help you first.
*Although her body was just screaming to fall asleep*
no subject
[his laugh was tired and quiet, not looking like he would be conscious for a lot longer himself. He put the first aid kit on the bed and opened it, getting out what he needed. He'd then remove his shirt bandage from her, clean the wound carefully, and put a real bandage on it along with some ointment that was supposed to ease pain and speed healing]
no subject
Faye bit her lip as she took the first aid kit, her eyes sweeping over his body as she prepared to start cleaning his wounds*
...you're hurt.. A lot. What did he do to you...?
no subject
[after taking that off he leaned over on the bed, starting to look pretty pale] he had....some ghosty magic thing stab me with a sword...
no subject
Ssh, sweetheart..just focus on staying with me.. We can talk about it later.
*Seeing the blood, Faye moved quickly to clean the wounds and use the ointment, then wrapped it up with a tight, clean and cushioned bandages*
You'll be fine...
no subject
We should probably sleep though
[even though he was exhausted and still sore all over, he wanted to at least get up to pull the bloody blankets off the bed so they could lay down somewhere cleanish. He didn't dare go lay down in Faye's bed though; they were still a little too bloody for that. He frowned as he pulled himself to the side of the bed, trying to slowly stand up]
no subject
*Faye moved round to face him, biting her lip as she placed a hand on his cheek*
I'm sure I could sleep forever...
Don't stand up. Just lift yourself a little.
*Faye pulled the cover off the bed from underneath him and took the duvet out from inside. Fortunately it wasn't too stained. Then she placed in lovingly over Thash before getting in beside him and trying to figure how to lie without hurting her shoulder*
no subject
Thanks for coming to help me, Faye. I really needed you this time...that guy...um, thing... would have killed me for sure without you there.
no subject
You always need me...
*But she didn't say it unkindly, it was more of a whispered teasing. To show it, Faye inched a little closer to press a warm kiss to his lips*
That thing -
*She cut herself short. Faye looked at Thash's face, his eyes closed, and she knew that he needed to rest. But she remembered that look in his eye...the expression that was so similar to that creature's... But she doesn't think it's fair to press it on him now, so she changed what she was going to say*
You rescued me from that thing too. So thank you. For saving me. Again.

*Faye kissed him one more time before closing her eyes and relaxing into a sleep*
