"E-eh?? I'm- My name's Lyrik..!"
no subject
"Hey! You're the clobber man, right?"

And then he paused, looking blankly at Luffy. "...the what?"
no subject
"Sorry for peeing on your railing the other day but the wind blew back and I didn't expect it."
no subject
"U-um... I...really have no idea what you're talking about, Mister Luffy. I just joined your crew, shortly after that Summit meeting. I used to be a part of Captain Harlock's crew, aboard the Triton's Mistress."
no subject
"Yo. What's up? Want to see a bug I found?"
no subject
"I was just cleaning things up a little. Hope you don't mind- Er...a bug?" What?

And he jogged past Lyrik into the men's quarters, opening a sea chest and throwing clothes and assorted junk out while he looked for it.
"I found it in the dark so I guess it liked it but I didn't want Sanji to get grossed out." He pulled out a floppy hat pushed the strawhat back on his shoulders to tug it on, seeming reflective for a moment before diving back in.
"It was really cool. It was kind of like a Miyama Stag but with spots on it that glow in the dark." What had Chopper called that kind of thing once? "Pots for essence." Yep that was it.

"Glow? Uh...you mean like a firefly?" he asked as he pulled a shirt from his face. Stooping down, he began to pick up the discarded clothes, folding them before he set them in a pile beside him. "Um...why are you keeping a bug anyway?"
no subject
"Uh oh..."

"Sanji's gonna be real mad if he finds you, bug. You'd better come out..."

So that in mind, Luffy flops himself crossways across the hammock, pushing himself off the wall with his feet and regards Lyrik a moment.
"What do you like to do for fun?"
no subject
"Hm? Oh, well...baking, I guess!"

"I'm not sure if I'm very good at telling stories. But I don't mind adventures, I guess."

"Stories, stories...um. Aaah...all I can think about is the one the dragonlings like so much, about Pupu the dolphin..."
no subject
no subject
"Well...it begins in the clear blue waters of the sea, where a dolphin named Pupu lived. He loved to play and frolic in the waves, and he made many friends with the fish and other creatures of the sea."
Hmm, now how did the rest of it go again? Lyrik had heard the story many times as a baby, and Tirk and Lati had come to love hearing it as well.
