PIRATES vs. NAVY BATTLE LOG

December 9th finds some new arrivals to this world, the same curious phenomenon that's been occurring for the past few months.

This time, however, the Navy is prepared -- or so they think.

They've got troops stationed around the island, and ships on the water to stop any arrogant, foolhardy pirates and would-be sailors from trying to make port.

So hit them with all you've got, but they're not going down easily...

And I don't know about you but the only act of piracy I've ever done might've been the internet kind!

[Diving into an alley with her, he looks down for a moment to see that a large was right under their feet.]

What makes them think random people are pirates, then?

[When the make shift wall is up, the soldiers just run on by not even taking notice of the blocked alley. He lets a sigh of relief before looking back to her.]

Dunno. Maybe pirates to them means random people who end up at a fountain. 'Cause between you and me I don't think we look very piratey.

[A shrug.] Pirates come in all shapes and sizes I think.

So this fountain, then... Anyway safely back to it, you think?

Hmmm, considering most of those soldiers are swarming that place like mad wasps? I'd say no.

[He tilts his head curiously towards her.]

Are you wanting to go back there?

It's the only way to get clues, and I can't think of where else my friend would be brought to.

Yoooou do realize it's like a warzone back there...and you're not even armed. Can you even fight?

[Sorry, Rose just doesn't seem to strike him as a powerhouse of any kind.]

I'll make do. If my friend is back there, I'm not leaving him. Besides, have you got any better plans?
