PIRATES vs. NAVY BATTLE LOG

December 9th finds some new arrivals to this world, the same curious phenomenon that's been occurring for the past few months.

This time, however, the Navy is prepared -- or so they think.

They've got troops stationed around the island, and ships on the water to stop any arrogant, foolhardy pirates and would-be sailors from trying to make port.

So hit them with all you've got, but they're not going down easily...

Luffy's confidence in him always meant a lot to Zoro, even if he didn't consciously think about it. The slightest smile curled his lips. "Sounds like an interesting detour in our journey. Maybe we'll be able to get even stronger yet before we go back to the New World."

He looked around as he walked, and almost veered off to a side street, but he kept Luffy in sight and unconsciously followed him safely instead. "This ghost guy...you mean that thing I heard about Davy Jones wasn't just me daydreaming?" But Davy Jones was a legend, he was the reason Davy Back fights were held in such high regard. Could he be in this different ocean too?

"Maybe." He wasn't sure how it worked really. "People go sometimes. Like you showed up? They leave." Katara and Sokka for one...but others, too. He wondered if he would go someday, too. He kind of wanted to go if he could come back here again. He wanted to be with everyone here but he also wanted to see what had happened.

"I think that was the guy's name. I don't really care. We have to find the shard things so that we can kick his ass." He'd said that before but it was still the most important thing in this place. "Only one has shown up but I think there are a lot of them."
