[middle of the night is a great time to learn what to expect when you hear the bells. Only not really. Gan Ning tends to take night watch when the others don't even think of it, so he's awake to see the new lady in the crew wander out. He leaps down from his perch with a jingle and strides over]

Well I just woke up. Now I'm kinda just...looking for something to do.

There's not a hell of a lot to do this late. Besides keep watch, and uh...

Yeeah, Gaius failed to mention the part about me being the only girl here. But I can't complain. I woke up with my clothes still on. My pokemon haven't been sold into slavery. I still have all my fingers. So I assume everyone here's pretty decent.

And I may look like a sweet, innocent girl. But deep down I'm a ruthless, black hearted champion who controls a dragon.

[She'll say that with a straight face. But laughs a few moments later, sighs, then returns her attention to the stars.]

Whoa, a dragon? Seriously? [show him, Cynthia. He loves dragons]

...what kinda question is that? Of course you will. That's what the crew is for. You're one of us, so we take care of our own.

Among other creatures. [But no, she wouldn't take them out now. They're sleeping.]

I've been on so many adventures back home. Caves diving, mountain climbing, ruin hunting, entering one other dimension besides this place, and yet I've never actually had other people with me whenever I was out doing dangerous things. Guess I'm just not used to this.

Oh, well then. If you're used to adventure, you'll fit right in. Sailing is probably a lot less exciting than mountain climbing, up until we get attacked or somethin'.

Well that's not at all comforting. But then I've dealt with evil organizations and wild pokemon, I'm sure the navy wouldn't be much of a challenge...maybe.

But I'm sure you'll be there to protect me.

They were trying to create a new world by summoning a legendary creature that had the power to destroy everything. As champion, it was my job to stop it.

Okay okay, so we managed to save everyone. Though there was one casualty. Something I still regret to this day.
