There're your fish. They bite, though, just saying.
[Not that it really hurts much unless the fish is big, which these aren't. He can tolerate a few nips on his shins if it means watching fish for a while.]
Nah, we don't eat this kind. You might be able to catch one if you're real quick with the bucket, but I dunno. It's easier to get a rod and fish for bigger ones.
[They could probably catch some pretty interesting things here. Like, not the sort of nature documentary-level weird things they pull up in the nets on the ship sometimes, but something he could cook, at least.]
[The little fish are cute and he's quiet looking at them for a moment. Well if they can't eat them and if he's not going to catch them, then it's time to play.
Out of nowhere, Roxas throws himself bodily against Lea to get him in the water.]
[It's the last thing Lea expects, so he's left tumbling face first into the ocean, scattering colorful fish every which way. Seconds later, he surfaces, scrubbing stinging salt water out of his eyes and spitting. His hair, it's important to note, still somehow manages to be sticking every which way.]
What the hell?! You're gonna pay for that one!
[Because Lea has long legs and Roxas is probably too busy being smug to notice his own legs being swept out from underneath him.]
[When he announces that Roxas is going to pay, he laughs and tries to make a break for it, but Lea is tall and he doesn't get far so he crashes into the ocean, just like Lea did.
He surfaces with a gasp and a cough, thanks to the laughing he may have swallowed a bit of water. Oops.]
[Nope, not choking, he's gone back to snickering for pulling one over on Lea. It can be pretty hard to do, Lea's sneaky. Somehow his hair is still standing up on his head.]
[Being taller also means it's easier to run away, though running in water isn't exactly the easiest thing to do. "Sloshing" might be the more accurate term, but Lea's going to attempt it, no matter what it should be called.]
[It isn't easy and it feels like he's gonna hurl, but he's not backing down. He manages to drag Roxas into the shallows, then starts tugging at his hands.]
[Uh oh, his fingers are being pried apart and after another foot, he loses his grasp, Lea's got his wrists, it's the only way he's not face first in the water.]
[His caring best friend just dumped him face first in the water, in the shallow end. He sputters a bit as he sits up, a bit mud on his chest. He spits out water.]
[Lea climbs up on top of a piece of driftwood, plants his hands on his hips and grins. For the first time in a long time, he looks as young as the older members of the crew treat him like he is. He can't remember the last time he just played around like this. Definitely not since he lost his heart.]

[Unless he starts choking, Lea doesn't have a whole lot of pity to spare, sorry.]

[You don't want to make this into a competition, Roxas. Not only is Lea sneaky, but he's mean.]
no subject
[Maybe Lea doesn't want to make it a competition because as far as fights go, it isn't him who holds the winning record.]
no subject
So sure of that, huh?
[Might as well splash him in the face.]

[Roxas retorts after the water is finished running down his face and he pounces at Lea again, ready to dunk him because what else are friends for?]
no subject
You're gonna scare the fish, you jerk!
[Not that he cares much about the fish, either, but it sounds good.]

[Roxas flails a little bit, landing in the water on his backside leaving him looking wet, although not under water.]
It's not fair that you're bigger than me!

[Roxas gets up and takes off after Lea, making an attempt to grab his arm.]
no subject
Yeah? Try me!
[Once he can get to shore, you're shit out of luck, kid.]

Not gonna work!
[He can totally drag Roxas like this without snapping in half! Totally!
For a bit...]
no subject
Yes it is! Fall down already!

Lemme go! What are you, a barnacle?
no subject
Noooo! You have to fall over!
[Uh oh, his fingers are being pried apart and after another foot, he loses his grasp, Lea's got his wrists, it's the only way he's not face first in the water.]

Ha ha, I win!

Jerk!
